Excellent in every way! From the moment we entered Areia Marbella, we knew this was a special place. The ambience, was beautiful and the service was friendly and very professional. Our appetizers and entrees were cooked to perfection. and tasted great! I would highly recommend Areia Marbella and will definitely return on future visits to the Marbella area!

From the moment we walked through the door, we were treated superbly. The decoration is absolutely beautiful and everything is clean and fresh. The lighting and background music made the setting perfect. The service is fabulous and the menu choice wonderful. We had the tasting menu, which was beautifully presented and introduced and tasted divine. This restaurant is a real gem and only in its second year. The hosts go above and beyond to make your experience highly enjoyable.

Both treatments of foie gras were superb. The sole was a little rich for my taste, but was beautifully presented table side… well priced wine.

Each time I visit Areia, I leave delighted and tonight was no exception to this rule. Everything is perfect: food quality, service, the beautiful setting and the attention to detail in every respect. This is a really very nice restaurant, super interior and a very promising kitchen and menu. Although the level is already quite high there are still some points to work at. For example, we ordered a Priorat white wine at a price of 110 €. Having it opened up and after tasting it, we actually thought that it was no good but then the waiter told us it was a very special wine. We looked that up and, yes, he was right, according Vivino, this wine has an oily strange taste, but that is how the wine is. In my eyes not really suitable to drink with fish and that is what our food was. Such things should be told when ordering a good wine. So, in my opinion they still lack a good sommelier. For the rest, the food was super nice. A place to remember. We will certainly go back.

This is an architecturally beautiful restaurant with excellent service and food. Food was interesting and different and delicious. Tuna tartare in pistachio soup and the sea bass in champagne sauce were standouts, along with the beef shank (with table side presentation) were some highlights for our family. The wine list is quite nice as well. Michelin mention and worth that and more….
