We absolutely loved our meal, the staff were all really friendly, the food is a nationality we had never had before and we loved every bit of it. I put a 3/5 for speed of service but this is not a negative it was very laid back and our whole meal felt relaxed, we were not rushed in any way, just what we wanted. The background music was also great ????

First time trying Venezuelan food. Food arrived very fast and starters were delicious, however mains I found less so. Might be my own personal taste though! Worth a try :)

Romantic place next to the river. Great service and some good food we tried. Just found chips very unhealthy. They're so deep fried we couldn't finish them.

A forever fan of Arepa! Gorgeous food for such reasonable prices! I love the tapas style dining - the small plates are the winners for me! See you soon!

The food was ok but a little oily and the dessert was overly sweet. Really disappointed in the service at some points it took a very long time to receive a Food aisle means were brought halfway through our starters and then kept under the light until we were ready. For some reason we were pointing to the food on the menu and saying what we wanted, but the waitress Kept repeating something else that we didn’t want. And when we asked for dessert we clearly stated we wanted to and she repeated two deserts and after about 15 or 20 minutes wait we just received one desert

Lovely little restaurant in a great location by the water. Staff were friendly and the food was good, will definitely go again. A lot of great dishes, but the Yuca chips are worth trying!

Food is excellent. The colombian lady was very kind with us and the cocktails made by Gary (the french guy) were the best ones!

Not the best. Ribeye poor quality. Watery and burnt on the surface and undercooked in the centre. Ordered the creamy lobster sauce which was served cold, likewise my mothers cheese sauce. Dessert was OK but nothing special. Overall disappointment.

I love this place! The team are very friendly and the food is fantastic. The portions were actually too big for us to handle -that is how good it is. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

About the restaurant

Hidden away from the busyness of East London and overlooking the beautiful Regents Canal you will find a small piece of Venezuela: Our Haggerston restaurant. A cosy, yet buzzing place that will let you experience Venezuela.

Delicious food for lunch, brunch or dinner, including a cocktail bar, a terrace and seating along the canal. Our menu is mostly gluten-free with a wide range of vegan and vegetarian options. All delicious if we may say so (check out the menu and you'll see what we are talking about).

This was our first restaurant and six years later it still retains the authenticity and character it had on the first day. Make sure you also visit us for brunch.
