About the restaurant Arezzo

We loved the pasta and pizza here. We got the carbonara, the bolognese, and the salmon pizza with egg lumps (turned out to be fish roe). Everything was high quality and very tasty (my husband makes his own bolognese and pasta and our standards are a bit high). Their desert menu has cafe gourmand which is impossible for us to resist. The wine selection is limited but what we picked was a good value. Staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend if in a pasta or ravioli mood.

Great food. But the Fork discount did not apply to the Gastronomic menu even though we chose it because we were told when seated first that to get the discount we had to have at least 2 courses. So, it seems if you spend a little you get a discount - whereas if you spend a lot as we did you get nothing! Inexplicable and a real shame because otherwise this is a very nice place!

The medieval décor (gothic vaulted arches from a former monastery) is a point of attraction in and of itself. I give four stars out of five to the main dish -- tagliatelle in meat sauce. The desert, however, coffee with assorted sweets, was truly exceptional and delicious, thus the extra star overall. The La Fourchette discount provides a genuine advantage. Courteous service.
