We saw a breadboard outside the restaurant stating ‘Live music tonight’ and thought it would make a change to have some entertainment with our food so we booked a table. When we arrived we were met by a very nice waitress and shown to a table within a spacious old building that was previously used as a salt mill and was very atmospheric. We asked when the music was starting and were told it would be soon but apparently there had been some problems and it never did materialise although there was background music piped through. The music didn’t matter as the food was amazing! Jean has the shrimp and I had the mackerel to start, we both had Angus steaks, I had chocolate symphony and Jean had lemon pie. We had wine to accompany each dish. Each dish was a work of art and a delight to the taste buds. Great atmosphere, great service and great value for money!

I liked the restaurant and the food very much although I thought it went a bit too slow. It took 1 hr before I got my starter. Then another 30 mins until I got the mains. When the mains arrived, I told them I wanted the dessert within 15 mins. Other than that: totally recommended. The value for money is AMAZING

This used to be a great restaurant, not any more.same prices, awful service due to not enough staff for a fullish restaurant.1 hour 40 minutes to get a main course.just cheapskating on staff.the main course was awful, over salted and had to be sent back.there are plenty of other restaurants out there,do not bother with this.

I saw this in The Lonely Planet guide and thought I'd give it a go. It was much better than I expected. Delicious food at a reasonable price, lovely staff and beautiful building. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Disappointing, as the sister restaurant to Do Forte we expected the same foodie experience, but the presentation was not as refined.

Anticipated that this would be a highlight meal of my trip. Sadly of the 10 different restaurants I have eaten in so far it was the worst rather than the best! The lobster starter was average and small . The veal / lamb main was barely amuse bouche size! The meat was tough and the knife blunt! Nobody enquired whether I needed anything and whether all was well. Seemingly the wine pairing entitled you to one glass although eventually an additional glass was produced on request. The so called “premium” wine pairing was poor quality. Scanning the red on Vivino was rated at 3.6 and suggested price of £4.83! What was the non premium wine like! You looked straight into the basin/ mirror of the the toilets so anyone washing hands/ adjusting hair and make up was in full view! The staff were inattentive and comments were either not actually listened to or ignored. Probably the former! Pretentiousness masquerading as a fine dining experience.

Excellent food, quality and presentation paired with very good while unobtrusive service. Definetely a recommendation. Also good value for money with the special menu.

Excellent as usual. We will definitely return next year. We have had lovely food on the island this year so far, but this has been the best!! We had the 30% discount on the a la carte. The hot shrimp starter was to die for!!

Great food and friendly staff. Starter, main dish and dessert all very well executed and delicious. Restaurant is located in a small alley and only visible due to the small sign on top. Music was a bit loud and clashed with the atmosphere but food more than made up for it. Would definitely visit again!

Excellent food... well cooked, inventive and well presented. More expensive than the usual tourist haunts, but worth every penny....

Wonderful food which can't be faulted at this restaurant. Unfortunately the ambiance and atmosphere didn't match the quality of the food and service. Our table was inside which was a nice room but rather sparsely populated and the temperature was way too hot to be comfortable. The air con was either ineffective or faulty. If you are paying a premium to eat here I would expect more.

The staff were wonderful. Attentive but not on top of you - I think one of the best level of service we have received. The food was amazing, every course was well thought out. Portions were actually quite big (which is a bonus in my book) literally wouldn’t change a thing. Bloomin’ wonderful.
