Food and service were average, nothing extraordinary. However the staff is friendly and the environment is cosy. I would not recommend it if you want to impress someone.

We eat here once a week after our Dutch class and find it hard to go anywhere else because the week menu is such good value and quality - currently 16.95E in the cafe. The starters are always quite imaginative - one week we had papaya and shrimps, this week it was carpaccio and sun dried tomato mousse. We like it that they always have vegetables with the main course - usually stir-fried and we don't get fries every week sometimes rice. Dessert can be just ice cream but sometimes more interesting and usually with fresh fruit - last night it was red currants, blackberry and passionfruit with blackberry mousse. The waiters are nice and patient when we insist on murdering the Dutch language!
