10/10Extremely clean, inviting and upscale restaurant. Food is delicious and you can tell that behind the scene are chefs and personnel that enjoy and love what they do. Very pleasant and flavorful dishes. Impecable service, and knowledgeable staff. David and Ari went above and beyond. Wine list and their recommendations… Superb! We could not resist temptation and came back on our 2nd day (out of two days in Cuenca) for another dinner, completely different but as great as the previous one. Cheers to you guys for such a fantastic meal, staff and experience. Well deserve Micheline recommendation, but you deserve 2 stars at least. Thank you! 10/10We tried the dry aged meat and can absolutely recommend it. A great experience to bake it yourself at the table. The local wine from Jaen paired beautifully with the meal!

5.5/10A very disappointing experience all round apart from the service. Restaurant too brightly lit. The ensalada de bogavante was too wet, possibly made at lunch time? Very little crayfish in the salad. The tartar de atun rojo was good. The slow cooked lamb arrived cold with a poor salad which again was very wet and probably made at lunchtime. Definitely not value for money, overpriced and below average food. I will not rerun and would not recommend

9/10The food is excellent. The service is attentive; they struggle a bit with English but that's our problem! They are very anxious to help. I dined here on my first visit to Ubeda, a year ago and it was at the top of my list on return. A very peaceful and relaxing location to enjoy great food.

Junto al hospital de Santiago, en Úbeda, Jaén, se encuentra el restaurante Asador Santiago, cuya cocina es ya famosa por ofrecer un producto de calidad, siempre de temporada y de calidad para que te sientas como en casa. ¿Qué te parece empezar con una Gamba blanca de huelva a la plancha? O quizás prefieras unas Mollejas de lechal o Chipirones de anzuelo con cebolla caramelizada. Del mar tienen unas ricas Kokotxas de merluza o un Atún rojo de almadraba. El Asador Santiago es de los típicos sitios donde, nada más llegar te das cuenta de que vas a estar cómodo y a gusto. Por la decoración, por el trato, por la gente. Por todo. No te lo pienses más y ¡reserva ya mismo tu mesa”
