4.5/10To be fair with the restaurant, I'm giving it a 2 out of 5 star, just because the Tenderloin Steak that we had was served as expected. However, aside from the main course - the starters and side dishes + the sauce were not at a par for a Michelin recommended restaurant. The service and availability of servers are very scarce on a Saturday 2pm lunch. The staff barely speaks english - which is also uncommon for Alicante (a prime tourist destination). Our group also consisted of a Spanish speaker, but they have difficulty of replying to our queries. All in all, our lunch experience with this restaurant was mediocre and disappointing - even to the point of frustration. What we ordered for 3 people - Starters consisting of: 1pc. grilled Artichoke - bland in taste and a bit burned; 1 order of Tomato Salad with Tuna in olive oil dressing; 1 order of grilled Secreto Iberico- bland, served with French fries For the main course: 3 orders of grilled Tenderloin Steak (ca. 200gms./each - medium and tatsed good. 3 side dishes - 1x French fries and 2x grilled vegetables (overcooked-steamed and barely grilled. 2 Pepper Sauce - both were too liquidy and not with a gravy consistency, and 1 of the sauce dish had half-filled with black peppercorns (please see how peppersauces are made). Drinks: 3 x 200ml. - Draft Beer 1 x 700ml. Bottled Water 1 x 200ml. White Wine - Albariño 1 x 700ml. Red Wine - Merlot Price Tag = Euro 190,00 Having written these comments based on our first-hand experience, we have really been to better steakhouses in Alicante and all over Spain, which are very much worthy of a Michelin recommendation. Fazit: Future patron/s of this restaurant, if you're after the grilled meat - you could try having them in this restaurant. But if you're looking for good services and all the works that comes from a Michelin recommended restaurant, you'll not find it in this one.

9/10Amazing food, great selection of Spanish wines, friendly staff. Place is right by the road which might be busy sometimes which isn’t very comfortable. Slightly muggy inside.

7.5/10A cosy resturant with great staff and pleasant service, however they can do better on their food. We ordered the tasting meny, which includes 5 apertizers , a main course, dessert, bread wine and coffee. The apertizers were so big that by the time for the main course we were full! For the main course we had ordered steak which tasted good but was small and not prepared as we had ordered. The desert was lovely and the best part of the meal for us. We would probably go back but will order a la carte, the tasting meny isn't worth the price or the experience.

7/10We expected more from a restaurant within this price range. One dish lacked acidity, another one had to much. A third cannelloni with meat foie, was way to heavy. They could spare some stuffing there. The meat was tender and tasteful. The staff was helpful, and they made the dessert to go because our daughter was about to fall asleep. The atmosphere was good, tho the restaurant is located right on a somewhat trafficked road.

4/10Compared the it’s sister restaurant’s this is terrible. I cannot remember the last time I ordered a bottle of wine and had to serve myself all evening! Not once did anyone offer to fill our glasses. Food no where near as good as at Taberna del Gourmet and the Iberico pork was like shoe leather.

7/10Excellent food although we did need to send 3 steaks back to be cooked more as not as expected. Lovely experience but felt our table was a bit away from everyone and sometimes it was hard to get any service. Will try again another time as previous experience was wonderful

10/10Simply one of the best meals I've ever had anywhere in the world. Unique anchovies for starter and sublime cod with mash & romesco sauce for main.

9.5/10After swimming, we were very delighted to have a lunch in this nice garden; it was a walk distance from the coast. Very delicious dishes and the staff very pleasant; they speak English too. We will come again and we will propose it to our friends.

5.5/10The beef filet was poor quality and a bad cut, the grilled vegetables were mushy, the red wine by the glass (Duro Ribeira) was a cheap selection and the service was slow and lacking. I am surprised that this restaurant is on the Michelin Plate list.

10/10Seriously delicious and clever food. Started with a caña, bread, house olive oil, and their croquetas. Then one of the best fillet steaks we've ever shared. The fennel and parmesan saiad is so unique, try it! Exquisite aioli. Their house red wine is fantastic. And the desert ! ... see photo :) (Not sure where the negative reviewers eat but we're so glad we found this place).
