6.5/10Great location and the food was good too. However we had two steaks put in front of us. And as we went to start. They were wisked away and we were told. This is not your meat. Which to be fair we found quite amusing Then two large jacket potatoes arrived. And again we were about to unwrap from the foil expecting our steaks to arrive soon after and again these were also wisked away to be told. Sorry not yours either. All very amusing but I guess not as it should be. When our meal arrived the steaks were well cooked and then we didn’t get a jacket potato but decided to just let it go. When on holiday sometimes it’s easier to let things slide and not get too upset by small things I would eat there again just need to be a tad careful with the orders

8/10Food was amazing and I would return for the food alone. However, despite the waiter being really friendly and knowledgeable, he wasn’t very attentive to our table and the service was slow. At the end, there were additional items on our bill which we didn’t have and that had to be rectified. The toilet didn’t have any hand drying facility, the door didn’t lock and it was messy which let the place down.

9/10Superb steaks. Service was a bit ropey (they were very busy…) but it is annoying when you have to request drinks over and over. The waiting staff were very pleasant. (Apparently the gents toilet, not so much…)

6/10Staff friendly and welcoming. Two steaks loins were fine. The sirloins ! Not good. One poorly cooked and had to be returned. Both with gristle. Lost 20% of steak as inedible . A better sirloin could be bought at Tesco! Complained and were given a free drink. Cannot recommend. Other diners apparently had problems too. Overpriced and underdelivering.

6/10Excellent food. Good vibe but terrible service. Waiters concentrated on bigger tables and in clearing tables for more guests rather than serving customers. 15mins to get bill and eventually had to walk out to get attention

5/10Shrimps was uncooked, like its was alive. Rubia gallega was good, not spectacular for the orice. Near meet was 10 slices of patatas fritas.... Dissapointed for like a restaurant:(

2/10The menue (and price level) gives the impression of "these guys know their stuff". Unfortunately that's not the case. The Chuluton was totaly untrimmed which means it included the outer chewy brim and a lot of excess fat. >50% was uneatable (we selected the most priecy, 100days dry aged). Further more it was under cooked (such piece need to be medium rare, to come to it's right), as was the chistorra. Service friendly but unknowledable. Ambience simple.

8/10Need to be selective on the cut of beef as went for a higher grade entrecote which was tasty but tough, cheaper cuts turned out to be more tender! Will know for next time

10/10We had been to this restaurant last time we were in Malaga and loved it, so we went back this time and ordered the same thing: pulpo and entrecôte that had been aged 46 days. Both were terrific, again! The staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive. It was Sunday, and they were cheerful and accommodating to everyone, whether it be a single diner or a family of 7 with 2 children in strollers and one young boy. It was another great experience.

3.5/10We booked a Christmas dinner as a couple. The food was mediocre at best, considering bwhat we pid for it. The service seemed rushed, and waiters stressed and disinterested. Both female and male bathrooms had the doors broken, and throughout our dinner we listened to people trying to break in or out of the toilet. All in all a poor experience.

9/10Our meal was superb--the grilled octopus was tender and mouth-watering, and my steak was juicy and flavorful, although just a bit chewy. The staff were very busy, so I would not call them attentive, but we could easily get their attention when we needed something. I really liked how hard they worked to try to accommodate people who didn't have reservations. I would definitely recommend eating here!

6/10Unfortunately my experience in Asador Ovidio 2 was not as good as expected. The meat was average, the service rather unfriendly. I checked out their menu online and was surprised that the dishes were around 20% more expensive in the restaurant than online. Not very professionell! I would not recommend Asador Ovidio.

9.5/10We had a nice table on the terrace next to a heater. The waiter was very friendly and explained all specialities in English. We had two delicious appetizers from the menu and a beautiful entrecote that had matured for 45 days. Fantastic taste!
