9/10Visiting Ashoka was a special experience. The ambience and atmosphere is beautiful, the staff really nice. Make sure to make a reservation tho, as the place is popular and seems to be busy all the time. The appetizer was amazing, even better than the main course. Will definitely come again.

9/10Yes, the service and the feel of the restaurant both were very good. The real star of the show, as it should be, was the very delicious food. Both the butter chicken and the chicken biryani satisfied immensely. The raita, the naan, and the roti accompanied these perfectly. Well done!

10/10After researching best Indian restaurants in Amsterdam, I found Ashoka on TripAdvisor. It's worth noting that my family is very picky about Indian food and has for a very long time had a favorite Indian restaurant that we compare all other Indian restaurants to. For the first time we found an equal!! The quality of the dishes were exceptional, all five of us loved our dishes. We dined on appetizers, curries, tandoori and of course Naan. Loved it all. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and staff were efficient and friendly. It really looked like a popular place to dine in the community - would dine there again on our next trip to Amsterdam :)
