I came here with a friend during the AH restaurantactie. It was quiet for a Friday night, so the service was quick and also very friendly. All of the food was very good, and while the decor is nothing fancy (as you would expect for an Indian place in Amsterdam), I would recommend as a good place for a casual and affordable dinner with friends or a partner.

The food was typical Indian with some Nepalese dishes included. We enjoyed the food, the amount was just perfect. They also offer some desserts which are worth trying.

Prima eten in een keurig restaurant, plezierige bediening. Wel handig als ze een beetje Nederlands of Engels leren spreken

Surprisingly super delicious. Gurkhas Kitchen served the best curries we've ever had and the price is really reasonable not to mention the owner(s) were super polite and friendly. I highly recommend the Mango lassi as a drink too. The only downside was we ate too much and were full until midnight - but again totally worth it!

The service was very good - friendly and reasonably efficient. The front-of-house staff were amicable and pleasant. I did order a raita which never arrived (and was not charged for). It seemed to have been completely forgotten about.

The food was good but I found the Korma sauce to be bland and slightly over-sweet. It could definitely have used some stronger spicing.

The decor was clean, fresh & tranquil. There were about 46 places but only about a dozen people in the restaurant. The toilets were very impressive, lined with beautiful mosaic tiles, clean and fully stocked with all the essentials.

My AH stamps paid for the cheaper item of each course and the total was very reasonable. The only issue I may have with the cost was that I was surprised to be charged 1.50 Euros for each glass of what appeared to be plain tap water.

Excellent food with fresh and tasty ingredients. The restaurant offers the usual Nepalese /Indian recipes at reasonable price. The service was very warm and fine but their English is not very good. For tourists it might therefore be a little bit complicated. The decor is simple and tasty
