Assado Italian Angus Steakhouse

The service was outstanding - they were thoughtful and attentive! Food was unreal - rump steak, sirloin and chicken, with shrimp and fries - we were in heaven! Don’t judge by the small storefront and primitive atmosphere - this was our favourite place in Vilamoura and my husband and I could not stop talking about how much we loved the food and enjoyed our experience at the restaurant!!!

A lovely new and family run Italian restaurant the staff are very friendly . You can tell when a chef take pride in his work .We found this place earlier this year and after arriving back and vilamoura yesterday the first place we headed last night was Assado.. it's not easy for any new restaurant starting off and it's a little bit off the main Marina strip, But I think you will find Assado worth it , don't look any further then the house wine you won't beat it...

We chose this restaurant from reading Trip advisor reviews. We aren’t disappointed. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the steaks were delicious. I’d certainly recommend this little place. 30% was a bonus too. A very affordable enjoyable evening.

Decided to try this restaurant on recommendations from Tripadvisor. Away from the busy Marina, we found this great little steakhouse. Starter of spicy prawns & bbq chicken wings were fantastic. My son & I opted for rump steak,medium rare. Meat was v tasty but slightly disappointed as over cooked and steak shouldn’t have been cut into slices just left as 1 piece of steak meaning it would have been thicker and therefore pinker in the middle. Chips however were delicious. My daughter opted for the pizza and wasn’t disappointed. Service was excellent as were the prices. Would definitely recommend this little restaurant.
