    Sadly there only seemed to be one server and she was really run off her feet, which meant she forgot things and was mistaken about certain things such as stating that the fish had no bones in it when it did. Also, the food was not up to par, especially the desserts. The meringue on the lemon meringue dessert was not set properly and was just a runny mess while the chocolate mousse was almost rock hard, not at all the light creamy texture that one would expect.

    The most appalling meal I have ever had. Insouciant service a 1hr 40 minute wait for the main course a fish soup starter like washing up water and an inedible main course of so called lamb which was 90% fat gristle and bone accompanied by aubergine that had been boiled to a liquid pulp. The only saving grace was that the table was so dark that I could not see the revolting mess that I was attempting to eat. The chairs were hard and uncomfortable and the miniscule table had legs preventing proximity to the table for eating. Other diners were so close that we might as well have shared a table. This with a miniscule glass of red wine came to 31Euros. It was a meal I would not have fed my dog. A total waste of money. My partners experience was similar to mine.

    We both took the taureau steak.. it tasted excellent but mine had a lot of gristle.

    The atmosphere, service & food were great. The only complaint is that my husband ordered the special appetizer of the day, escargot Served in Mediterranean brothy stew. The dish did not come with tongs to hold the shell & the fork provided was a little too big to pull out the snail. The dish was a struggle to eat but was delicious. We would love a tip on how best to enjoy escargot without tongs.

    Lunch menu at 19 euro was good value for money. Only one choice of half-bottle red wine. Quality was excellent , but at 18 euro for 37.5 cl bottle expensive compared to the price of the menu. On this Saturday in May the restaurant was very quiet, only few customers. Stark contrast with earlier visit in winter, when it was absolutely sold out.

    Excellent selection of meals from the Provence region. The fish was cooked perfectly and delicious. Service was friendly and they explained the dishes. Warm and enjoyable atmosphere.

    Enjoyed a great dinner with friends, snails as starter and bull steak as main. Waiter helped choose some very good local wine. Good time has by all
