10/10Return visit for me after having a great dinner here last year. This time took my husband and he loved his terrine and steak. Great wines by the glass list makes it easy to pair a wine with your food. And Julien who speaks very good English is a wonderful host and makes you feel welcome and cared for. Great place highly recommended.

10/10Our hotelier recommended this restaurant as a great example of local dishes, prepared properly. Wow, was he right. We had seen the Tripadvisor reviews and knew it would be good, but this place really was a treat. I had the slow-cooked pork knuckle, and my wife had the chevre salad. Both were exceptionally good, and not expensive. Local wine made it perfect. Be sure to book several days in advance- they stay booked up!

8/10It was a lovely restaurant and very nice staff. The food was delicious, only disappointment was that in one person's dish the meat had some parts that are definitely not meant to be served. Had we not encountered that, this would have been our favourite meal of our trip.

9/10Excellent Coq-a-vin. My husband enjoyed his steak and fries. Wine list was quite extensive and prices were reasonable. The owner was very friendly and helpful. A great environment for a nice dinner. Not an extensive menu but good choices for local Burgundy fare. We enjoyed our dinner and were glad to had had a reservation. They were full on a Monday night in late September!

10/10Excellent Restaurant in Beaune. Delicate and Authentic " Cuisine du terroir", impeccable service from a dedicated crew. We were especially impressed by the care we received and how the staff including the chef were offering to help (and propose alternatives) with food intolerance! We can only recommand it!

10/10We wanted a simple dinner and had a great one - a fabulous hamburger with fries and a delicious salad. As Americans we like ketchup with this meal and it was provided. Dessert of sorbet with whipped cream was delicious.

10/10Always getting a great service from this restaurant. This time, the chef came to ask customers about the food and was very interested in our comments, asking precise questions. It is not so often you can go to a restaurant located in a very touristic place, at the highest season and get that level of service and quality of food. Regarding wines, you'll find all the wines you want for every wallet. Tip: start selecting the wine you want then as the waiter for the food which will suit your wine choice.

10/10Service attentive, discreet and welcoming. But it is the food that really matters. No complaints here. Varied menu, including regional dishes. Everything I ordered was of a high quality with ample portions. The crême brûlée was to die for. An excellent choice of wines by the glass. The Volnay 1er cru was so good I ordered a second glass. The restaurant has a high reputation in Beaune without being in any way pretentious. It is essential to book in advance.

10/10Great traditional French fare with excellent service. Wonderful to sit outside in an area where cars are not allowed. The prices were reasonable and the wine list is excellent.
