Ambitious but could not live up to it. Tasty food but service was not up to par. We informed them three times (in booking, confirmation via telephone and at entry) about one nut allergy, and still they served a dish sprinkled with hazelnut.

Strange name for a restaurant imo but great ambiance, amazing service and superb food. Wine prices pretty steep (though we enjoyed what we ordered). Overall - almost perfect if not for the overpriced wine-list.

The restaurant is well presented. We were welcomed once we stepped into the entrance till the last moment we stepped out of the restaurant. The staffs were very friendly and offered very good service. The food was creative and also tasted good. So in the end when I paid the bill I offered to give 10% of tips but the waiter didn’t actually add it on (probably my English wasn’t clear enough). And I only noticed of it when I went back home -_-0 Overall it’s very good experience of both service and food so highly recommended!

Want to disconnect from the world for three hours? Do you also want to have a lot of fun during these hours? Want to try unique food dishes that you won't taste anywhere else? So there is a warm recommendation for you: the Crocodile restaurant in Strasbourg, France! You will enter the restaurant and from there a waiter or waitress will escort you to the table you reserved in advance (mandatory), you will be completely shocked by the beauty and style and even your handbag will have its own chair waiting for him. From there you will begin an experience that you have no idea when it will end because you will not want it to end. The meal includes countless dishes of the highest quality and the most creative. It feels like a story that starts with the first appetizer and ends with the final dessert. Each chapter in this story is accompanied by an explanation before submitting it and we were very surprised by each chapter in the story. Although we are very experienced in Michelin restaurants, we could not relax and fall asleep when we returned to the hotel. It was a dream visit. This is a level that only gets better over the years and it was obvious that the waiters are motivated for service and courtesy at the highest level. The head waiter had culinary knowledge and sometimes we felt that he himself was a participant in the culinary creation in the kitchen. We didn't get to see the chef who usually comes out to the diners during or at the end of the meal. Maybe next time. We'll be back soon. promise

Au Crocodile definitely deserves its Michelin star. From the reception, to the carefully orchestrated and beautifully presented tasting menu, we enjoyed the experience thoroughly. We especially enjoyed the dessert in a sugar glaze globe! We will definitely visit again if we return to Strasbourg.

Excellent restaurant in the centre of Strasbourg. Very well prepared and beautifully presented food made from high quality ingredients. The tasting menu (Menu Dégustation) is highly recommended. The service is friendly and very professional. The dining room is elegant, comfortable and very pleasant. I have been dining at Au Crocodile for many years now, and I continue to give it my best recommendation.

Great service and servings, but be aware of extras! The tasting menu was a surprise of the day. However, the cheese serving was added to the price to our surprise. They could have mentioned that it was not included in the tasting menu. And be aware of goats as the main dish. ????

It was a first time to be there with 2 kids under the age of 7 and we were pleasantly surprised to see that there were kids friendly choices for them to eat. And, of course, the small drawings to keep them busy while us the parents could enjoy our meal, were very much appreaciated.

Celebrated husband's birthday lunch today and it was our first experience at a Michelin star restaurant. What can I say? We loved every bit of it, service was amazing, food was an experience! I love how they plate up some of the dishes on front of you. Every dish was beautifully presented

From start to finish our Christmas dinner at Au Crocodile was a remarkable experience. The service was spectacular: friendly and professional. The food was superb, the presentation was exceptional. Our entire family agreed that the whole dining experience was outstanding.
