Excellent
Very good local dishes!
We very much enjoyed our meal here. The server (owner?) was very helpful with his guidance about our choice. There is a LOT of food per portion, so either order less or pace yourself. Look for the small paintings around the outlets!
Nice atmosphere and food - love the fact that it was a blackboard menu with a sensible number of good choices
Very cute bistro. Tables close together, menu is a blackboard on the wall. Definite German slant to the menu, but everything tasted great. Even on a Tuesday in late Sept we needed reservations.
This is the first restaurant in Alsace where we felt as welcomed guest rather than annoying tourist. The restaurant is small: about 12 tables and 1 waiter who is fluent in at least 3 languages - French, English and German (that what we heard him speak). Everything was done fast but not too fast so we didn’t feel rushed. The food was typical Alsatian food, so if you into low calories and healthy stuff, this place is not for you :) Wine was great, food was very decent. Loved it!
Super restaurant typique frais excellent service rien n’à redire au top
Exceptional traditional restaurant where we like to taste alsacien foods. The landlord is sympathetic, available and cares for his clients. Very good dinner with family and friends.
A wonderful Alsacian experience with honest food. Would return many times if I lived in Strasbourg.
Delightful food - home cooking style. Pork knuckle was the star of the show, perfectly cooked and crispy skin. Staff was helpful in explaining the menu in English and suggesting wine from the list also. Very enjoyable meal.
Excellent food, very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. Had a lovely evening with my family.
Bon repas !
Assolutamente da provare
Excellente cuisine.
We had a really nice dinner at Au Cruchon. The food, service and location were excellent. We can only recommend this restaurant.
Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent food. Marvelous rapport with guests.
Small, alsacien-style place with good food.
Short delicious menu in a small restaurant with fascinating artifacts.
Amazing experience loved the old world atmosphere
A lovely evening - the host was very "sympa" and helpful (in several languages!). The food was delicious and copious. The restaurant is cozy, intimate, not a big tourist trap. Try the jarret de porc on its bed of choucroute, you won't be disappointed. And leave some room for dessert! Merci, c'était génial!
Lovely little winstub in central Strasbourg. Friendly, welcoming service in traditional surroundings. Good wine list. The "jarret de porc" (pork hock) with choucroute is superb. Overall, thoroughly Recommended.
