A price higher than that announced on the fork app and a meat overcooked compared to the cooking that was requested.

Lovely, small, very French place on the right bank of the Saone. Ending the river walking with a Bouchon Lyonnaise like meal is definitely a good way to spend your evening n Lyon. Bouchon Lyonnaise are informal, old fashioned places, serving mainly meat (even plates based on interiors or non traditional cuts). The atmosphere is great, with vintage French ads, prints, and posters on the walls. Very small, could be noisy when crowded but it was quiet when I went.

I was really disappointed that this restaurant was in a such rundown condition. I had to apologize to my guests for choosing such a place - TheFork had given me such great suggestions before that I didn't investigate in depth before actually going there. The interior was more pub-like and not the cleanest. When people were smoking at the tables outside the window, it carried also inside. It seems to be the kind of place where locals go to and have a very relaxed dinner.

On the other hand, the food was great and the portions were huge. A normal person shouldn't probably eat even the whole starter. We were offered a wine without a label, that tasted wonderful. The water with it was lukewarm, though, and had a specific taste. There was also a bit of disappointment that we didn't get coffee with our 'coffee gourmand'.

I guess it is a good place for getting great food to fill your stomach, and not a good place if your goal is fine dining.

A bit of a let down. The offer was not worth the price that was asked. Music choice was strange...
