I must say that the food is very tasty, but...
The price for drinks is a real robbery ! For 250ml of Hainiken bear they charge 7€ !!!
They offer you a special first courses without telling that the price is double then the others from the menue.
Definitely overpriced and make you fool !!!

The food was very good. Everything was seasonal and fresh. Service was friendly, helpful and sincere. Atmosphere was typical of a small Parisian bistro/restaurant- warm and cozy

Au Petit Tonneau was fantastic! This is a cozy, charming little place with delicious food. If we could return tonight, we just might. We will definitely visit on future trips to Paris. Reservations are a must.

This was our best dinner in Paris so far. We had the veal stew and the sea bass. Both were exceptional. We also started our meal with the onion tart with shaved truffles, so good. We then ended the meal with the lemon meringue tart. Everything was so good and the service was excellent! I would return here when I come back to Paris. C’est fantastique!

Food was acceptable - fish well made, cote de veau excellent - but escargot were burned. Gratin was burned. Both to the point of being inedible. Lamb was uninteresting.

Service was at the same time friendly and yet remarkably inattentive.

Overall, not a meal I would search out again.

The dinner here was excellent. There were many specials and the staff was happy to explain them to us in English, totally not expected but appreciated. The food was very good, one of the best meals we had in France. We had the chateaubriand, the chicken special, the onion soup and the chocolate mousse. All of them were delicious and large portions. The very friendly and helpful staff made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend!

We began our Paris stay at this lovely place and ended there 2 weeks later. It was Mother's day so the joint was jumpin'. However we could still here each other and it was not deafening. The veal chop is the stuff dreams are made of -- the pleurotes were fabulous and my husband will dream about their kidneys until we return. The staff is charming and no one winced at my french. We will return.

Outstanding food and service in a small, romantic, and authentic French restaurant. Don’t miss the scalloped potatoes or chateaubriand.

Excellent service. Fresh, premium quality ingredients, but lacked flavor.
