Very nice local institution, very friendly service with a Brussels flavor. Place is quiet and great for a fine conversation. The spare ribs and blood sausage are highlights.

In a lost and long forgotten neighborhood lies a true gem. Once you’re inside you forget where you are and truly taken to a world of suculent and masterly prepared Belgian cusine. Try the menu as well the season specials. Excellent beer selection and immaculate service. With some luck you’ll have a flamboyant artist ( mine was wearing a double colored hats put together ) sitting next to you.

      Enjoy!

Very nice and genuine Brussels brasserie. I had not been back for 20 years, it has become relatively more expensive but it is as lovely as I remember it.

Nice traditional Belgian food. Don’t expect fine dining but well prepared, down to earth food. We are the blood sausage and it was excellent.

The really liked the ambiance of this brasserie type of restaurant which remained authentic unlike many brasseries which have been renovated too much. The place had a feel of a neighbourhood restaurant with regular repeat clients with few tourists.

The food was correct and perhaps my partner and I shouldn’t have chosen the same thing but since we did, I can only say that the bone marrow was good but the spare ribs needed to be more “caramelized” as it lacked the barbecue taste.

But we both liked the place and intend to go back in our future visits to Brussels.

Good quality Belgian food. We liked the visible kitchen and the atmosphere. The main dishes were good quality. Entrances too expensive and not particularly creative. Water too expensive (€7). Staff well prepared and friendly!
