Classicism prevails in this elegant inn, both on the menu and in the decor. From the foie gras to the cheese platter, and from the dining area with ...

The restaurant has a pleasant garden; the food was good and well balanced, yet not spectacular or surprising; the service was a bit anonymous and careless; the price/quality relation was reasonable.
Restaurant was great. Owner made visits to each table making sure we were ok, which is a nice personal touch, We will be returning to the restaurant again.
super resto à faire absolument
Outstanding food & service. Not inexpensive but worth every penny (or euro!). Bring a big apetite, even for the 3-course meal. Luckily, you are given adequate time to digest each course. Highly recommended for a special occasion and real treat.
Ridiculously overpriced and extremely underwhelming. We took the Epicurean menu and tried each dish on there and unfortunately were left disappointed. We had high expectations after reading the reviews of others but can definitely say that we will not be back. The food left a lot to be desired. I will say that the stuffed zucchini flower and tuna steak and the pasta rigatoni with foie gras were lovely. The mains (veal and pigeon) were nothing extraordinary. The desserts were another story. The strawberry and rhubarb dessert was fine; nice even. But not what you would expect from a 5 star Auberge and a self described ‘gastronomic’ restaurant. The chocolate ganache with almond ice cream was again, nothing to write home about and in fact was a dessert that could be replicated at home without much trouble. The ice cream itself had a really strange flavour- almost like frozen soy milk. Disappointing when we began the evening with such high expectations. The woman we are assuming is the owner (the wife of the chef) did come over to say welcome and enjoy which we thought was a nice personal touch. The service started out well, the staff were quite attentive at the beginning of our meal, however, throughout the meal it felt as though service was lacking. We did not receive any bread until well into the main course and were left with empty glasses a lot of the time. We even had a waiter (albeit a lovely one) stop in the middle of attending to us, to pour a glass of wine for the (older) couple dining at the table next to us. The staff were pleasant during all interactions but not as attentive as you would expect. Is it because we were likely the youngest patrons there? I am not sure. On top of this, we felt the the ambiance was lacking; perhaps even best described as stale. The terrace setting was pleasant but again, nothing mind blowing and definitely lacking a certain charm. Overall we would rate this entire experience a 4 (max5)/10. What may have once been a fine dining experience is now only a mediocre affair.
Superb! Pity the water is almost EU7 a bottle! Will definitely be back there again!
It was a very good meal in a quiet environment. Love the garden-terrace...

It was amazing dinner. Wonderful place, very kind people, hight kitchen. Thanks a lot! You made our evening :)
Food was excellent. Service was good too. A little more explanation when serving the dish would be even better.
we had wonderful lunch today without stay, but next time we would like to stay there and have lunch and dinner.
Fantastic food worthy of 2 Michelin stars. Great staff.

I'm surprised this restaurant doesn't already have a Michelin star. It really deserves it.
