6/6/2020 dinner. This restaurant was obviously packed with customers. After the lockdown. The decor and setting were classic. There were many servers, helpers and waiters around. As I noticed, they are all males. Each guy had an assigned role, greeting, bread, water, wine/beverage, taking order, cleaning up. No one was multi tasked. But Service was just ok. I felt rushed to order drinks when I just received my menu literally 2 min ago. Anyway, food did deliver quickly. amuse bouche were yummy and pretty. Lobsters in an iced court bouillon with spinach Royals and caviar was creative and refreshing. Quenelles of lobsters was delicious and delicate. The rest of main dishes ( Foie gras, red mullet and chicken) is just ok to me. A lot of super culinary techniques involved but not tasteful. In fact, the local Bresse chicken truffled cooked in a white bladder Mere Fillioux was a true disappointment. While we finished our bottle of white wine. No one offered us any additional beverage before having the infamous chicken. I had to asked for a wine menu and ordered a bottle of red myself. That’s not acceptable. On the other hand, Dessert and cheese were wonderful. Both white and red Wine was excellent. Heinz did tell the head waiter about the infamous local chicken. Oh well. I expected too much from this restaurant. I wish the restaurant continue to improve its performance and operation. Nevertheless we’re thankful to have this dinning experience.

Food was decent however it took a little Long between meals. Also, menu could have been kept on the table as it’s not practical to remember and anticipate what’s next.
