It was raining when we arrived. The doorman came out with an umbrella to make sure we arrived in the restaurant dry. The reception was welcoming. In fact, all of the staff were friendly in a quiet way throughout the entire meal. Most of our meal consisted of things we had never eaten before: potato soup with truffles, quenelles, fish baked in a puff pastry crust, a variety of cheeses. They were all delicious, served at a good temperature, and in a timely manner. I hope I have a chance to eat there again. It was an unforgettable experience.

The cuisine was really excellent - the service, to be honest, rather mediocre for a 3 étoiles.

If you have the chance, visit l'Auberge de l'Ill near Colmar... better way to get rid of 700 EUR for 2

It is a worldwide known restaurant and it is a "must" to dine there once in your live if you love the grande cuisine. We tried out the traditional menu which was delious - you have to be really very hungry.

The food... oh, the food. To describe it would be a total injustice in the same way the French don't really care for doggie bags. It's an experience of tradition, impeccable perfection and pride. It was on my bucket list since my own grandfather, over 30 years ago, told me about the legend of Bocuse. I was a little nervous because my expectations were set quite high, but nothing was less than fantastic.

If I have one piece of advice: pace yourself. Difficult to do, but each dish was just as grand as the others.

We thought the food was very old-fashioned. Nothing spectacular or innovative about it. Which is fine in itself but not when it has a 3-star Michelin ranking.

I took dinner was my birthday and about 1manth ago in NOV, I informed that.
And just dinner time, there were 3persons who was just birth day, staff of PAUL BOCUSE presented to mussic and cake!! for me and them.
I was deeply impressed the service and appreciate all staffs of PAUL BOCUSE!!
When I vist to LYON, of course enjoy dinner again and again.
