About the restaurant Auberge Nicolas Flamel

"INTIMATE AND ROMANTIC - This is a historical monument! Dressed stone, beams, everything is vintage, to be precise, from the beginning of the 15th century. This inn, built by a philanthropist alchemist was formerly a restaurant for poor people... Today, the place remains emotionally charged, vibrant with an authentic spirit. And the cuisine has gone up a notch.

THE ALCHEMY OF FLAVORS - the sophistication of the cuisine of Auberge Nicolas Flamel is particularly appreciated through the "

Food was excellent, service (save for a long wait to be greeted by our server once we were seated) was friends and attentive, and the restaurant itself was just lovely. The chocolate souffle was one of the best desserts I've had while here in Paris.

Beautiful quaint old location. The prixe fixe menu was perfect, there was a language barrier but we did fine. We had price fixe menu 2 included dessert for addl 5 euro , and we ordered a chocolate soufflé for 12 £. Bottle of wine and total was approx 160£ for 4 people. We will be back.

The food was great... Loved the room. I had the fish: excellent. Ivan had the plat (he chose the veal option for the entree) and loved every course! The chocolate dessert was amazing. Definitely going back (!)

This fine restaurant may count as the oldest one in town. But the experience as a guest is rather fresh and modern. The menu was superb as was the service. I only wonder whether the nicely „slow down“ waiter is trying to impersonate Mr. Flamel himself.

We came at our booking time, but we were really unwelcome there, after spending 20 minutes without even the menus, then we were waiting for anyone to take an order, but it didn’t happen. What a pity! We left the place after 35 minutes of waiting. Although it was hot and stuffy inside. A real disappointment!

Since our navigation leads us wrong way where RER under construction, 3 of us were late. The gentleman who helped us was kind. Surprisingly, there were not many place to serve perfect foie gras in Paris. This restaurant is right place to taste your first foie gras. It is bit expensive but worth it.

Beautiful, unique space. Food excellent. Wine list adequate but could be better. Worth a visit for sure to the oldest Auberge in Paris!

A cozy restaurant. Fantastic service as the waitering staff were friendly and have a great sense of humour. Made us felt welcomed! Bread was great, so was the food. We liked the cod as it was fresh and it was of a generous portion along with brown rice. The dessert - The Sphere, the chocolate was just amazing! I would highly recommend the set menu as it’s totally valuable. My only comment would be that it was a little warm inside and the chair was a tad uncomfortable.

Best restaurant in a long time. A question, where do they source their chocolate? Is there child labor involved?

A wonderful experience in a historical landmark with the best souffles and lobster I've ever had!
