This place was better than we expected. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. The food was amazing. We are coming back on Friday before we go home as we loved it that much.

honestly is in line with expectations. the food was good and some of the waiters were very careful and helping out with out large messy family. so very good experience overall

Great food and a wonderful evening to start off our visit to Dresden. Literally right next to the Frauenkirke on the new square. Sitting is outdoors so you have to be aware of the weather (rain and temperature) but we lucked out!!! Great dinner

Normally you can make a reservation inside and outside and decide on spot where you want to sit because of the weather. Maybe on this evening the area inside was fully booked. Food was okay, not delicious nor terrible. We were unfortunately sat next to a table of smokers who smoked the whole time we were there which ruined our evening. Not the restaurant's fault and also understanding that it's typical of Europe to not separate smoking and non-smoking outdoor areas, but just something to keep in mind as a traveller if this is something that you are not accustomed to.

I had ordered a table for 8pm. As I suspected that we would not be able to keep this time, I personally went to the restaurant around 6:45PM and informed them that it would be later. When we showed up around 21:20, we were greeted in a very unfriendly way and told that we were lucky that the table had not been released yet. At this point, I felt that the restaurant was only 60% full. However, the station waiter was then nice and courteous.

My group of 4 had dinner here twice in our 3-day stay in Dresden. The new premises are very well designed, with plenty of space over 3 floors and a traditional German ambiance. The hearty Bavarian dishes were well cooked and there was a decent selection of Augustiner beers, plus wines and spirits. The restaurant was very full on both nights but the service was quick and efficient.

The food was quite good. But a staff at the restaurant was terrible. She (with glasses) looks like annoying every time I called her, but when she served to German people, I saw her smiling every time. I felt terrible and I think it's because of the fact that we were asians. So, every asian people who want to have a meal at this restaurant must be careful not to make her angry :)
