Very nice traditional restaurant, when the weather is good you could eat outside, and that was the case for us due to extraordinary mild temperature for the season, traditional French cuisine of very good quality. Great wine list.

Food was outstanding and the atmosphere classic. One of the best bœuf Bourgogne I’ve had in Paris and the croque monsieur with truffle was incredible. The service was very friendly, but extremely slow. It took 40 minutes before we ordered and over two hours for the three courses - but a pleasant evening, nonetheless. It is best not to be in a hurry if dining here, anyway.

What you think of a restaurant is entirely based upon what you think you are going to like. Walking in I knew this was a place to like. The atmosphere and decor dated to The founding in 1932, something I enjoy in Paris.. period dacor. The beef Bourgogne was delightful, the steak Normandy true to the region and the cherries in l’eau de vie a wonderful finish. Staff was friendly and attentive and the House cat a pleasant surprise.

I like the bread very much in here. I normally don’t touch free bread but i ended up ate two pieces cause it so good with butter. I ordered onion soup and scallops and both of them are quite tasty. All seafood dishes come with a free side dish. I would recommend this to friends.

Consistency is key: quality & staff remain great at every visit. Expect classic French fare with a contemporary twist and lovely plating. Portions are generous but leave room to try the desserts (particularly the salted caramel/speculoos tiramisu).

The menu changes with the seasons, so favorites for the fall were the jerusalem artichoke soup, the duck.
Always delicious: the dover sole

Perfect meal with a great price (40% off the dishes)! Definitely recommend this place, as a quiet romantic spot very close to a crowded street.

The food was good, wine average and expensive. We first got an inappropriate table placed next to the washrooms. I am not sure I understand how this table can be offered to clients! After asking twice the staff has been helpful in placing us at a table which made us enjoy the authentic setting of this brasserie.

Our first meal in Paris and it was delicious! The epitome of French cuisine - simple and elegant.
