    We very much enjoyed the food (fois gras, duck breast, parmentier de canard). One of the waiters, however, didn't quite know what he was doing. He served us the wrong starter (mixed it up with that of the neighboring table) and couldn't distinguish the different kinds of fois gras. And when we asked for the bill, he first went for a smoke. The rest of the staff helped correct these issues but this should nevertheless not happen

    The food is just right for what it is, the chance to share in traditional recipes of SouthWest France. This is because the restaurant uses its own high quality products. Especially good are the cassoulets and the salade de gesiers. We enjoy those so much we always get the same thing. The South West menu is a very good bargain. Not haut cuisine but excellent daily regional fare. Highly recommended.

About the restaurant

Originaire du Tarn et Garonne, la Maison Micouleau s’est implanté à Montparnasse pour ouvrir les portes de son restaurant-boutique : Aux Bons Produits du Sud-Ouest. Vous aimerez l’intérieur chaleureux, avec ses boiseries, ses murs en pierres apparentes et sa cheminée.

Aux fourneaux, le Chef élabore des recettes transmises de père en fils depuis 1888. Cette cuisine ensoleillée et aux parfums d’antan saura charmer gourmands et gourmets, avec entre autres le cassoulet de confit de canard ou les fromages fermiers… A noter : leur foie gras de canard a été plusieurs fois récompensé lors du concours Gal Agricole de Paris et récemment médaille d'or au concours générale de Paris 2014 !
