Wow what a beautiful experience! Watching the service team work while enjoying the atmosphere was an evening to remember. The sommelier had excellent recommendations. Dishes were delicious, creative and beautifully presented. We will return!

If you do not by choice or cannot eat the proposed menus (starting at 72€, then 99€, etc…) due to dietary restrictions and chose to eat a la carte, a “standard” appetizer-main-dessert the options are very limited and served quantities are rather small. My spouse raised the issue as she ended up hungry, she was offered a a bowl of rice which ultimately was charged a few euros, come on… 100€ per person minimum. In her case 4 small shrimps for 33€ as an appetizer is not enough in quantity for a price on the high side. The menu portions are rather small too. Quality is high, but ultimately you do not want to leave diner hungry. View from terrasse is amazing, service is really slow, itv seems clearly understaffed, cocktails arrived after appetizers and wine offering by the glass is quite poor in quality with again prices on the high side this time from a quality perspective. Maybe we expected too much from the high rating.

Beautiful meal. Good service, pleasant location and great Asian flavours. Each course executed well and combined made a super menu. Maybe not a great choice for meat only lovers as largely fish and sushi style based.

Avista continues to impress after our ~6th visit. We've tried the various tastings split between Mediterranean and Asia. This visit was a la carte and the dished remained exception to the point we redid an entrée as a 'pre-dessert'. An added bonus was the new sommelier was the excellent Leandro previously from Savoy Galaxia. An excellent guide who picks up subtleties while you're tasing and instinctively know to try something else. A pleasure as always. B&G

We have been here twice before and we are back again for good reason, as with their sister restaurant downstairs, the Avista Mediterranean, it is always excellent. On this occasion though we did feel let down by the service. The staff seemed a little distracted, there was no real explanation of the food we were being served, as always happens in the Mediterranean, and at the end of the evening we had to ask three times for the bill before we received it.
