Azar & Co

Azar & Co is gradually becoming one of our favorite places in Geneva. The food is consistently excellent, the service is very nice, and the location apirs very well with a nice stroll by the lake. The street nearby is a bit too noisy to fuly appreciate the terrasse, but is not an issue at all once inside.

Excellent food except that the dessert was a bit of a let down. Could not enjoy the discount as it was lunch.

The service was great, awesome place, the food was good but nothing too special. If you do come you should come eat the hummus.

Very polite and attentive service which was much appreciated. The lamb kebabs were very tender however the side dishes were a bit disappointing. I was also disappointed with the baklava desert which is normally a highlight of the cuisine. They were hollow and dry instead of the more usual slightly weighty morsels dripping in honey and pistachios. Overall very good on service but the menu items I chose need improvement.

As usual, I was back for the Chef's Special Friday Fish Dish and it was simply delicious and fresh! A MUST try! Came with a friend, she loved the ambiance and adored the food.

We had an excellent meal at Azar & Co. The food was delicious and fresh and very nicely presented. The Chef's special Friday Fish is a must try. Today, we had the fresh Dorade which was perfectly prepared. The staff is very friendly, helpful and warm and went out the extra mile to make today a special day for my friend who had her birthday. It was an exquisite dining experience.

Very friendly and kind staff, the chef, Mr. Azar came by to enquire on us, a lovely personal touch. Food was delicious! Lots of choice for vegetarians. On the flip side, the complimentary nuts seemed a bit stale and the bread basket, also complimentary, had slightly tough pita. But if you stick to what you’re buying, it’s a lovely experience! :)

Excellent service, discrete and friendly. Amazing food: light, fresh and tasty, and very pleasant atmosphere. Definitely coming back.

What a disappointment. I tend to think that you cannot go wrong with Lebanese cuisine, whether it's a $2 falafel or a full mezze. This place has all the trappings of a good restaurant: nice location by the lake, fancy entrance. Inside, however, everything felt old and rundown. The table setting was cheap and old. We were stuck in a corner of the restaurant, on an angle, uncomfortably seated. The food was the greatest disappointment. Again, everything seemed to be there. But it just did not taste good! We won't be back.

I recommend the place. It is not cheap but at least you feel welcomed and you get an experience that is quite unique. The ambiance and setup are something to try for anyone who is willing to have a go at Middle-Eastern food with a twist. The food is okay but not the best. Still I happily recommend the restaurant.
