4/10A lot of fun to eat out on this bustling street, a lot of ambiance. However, The food was really bad, extremely greasy and unrefined. Greeting was ordinary, the waiters were overwhelmed and expéditive. Ours mentioned not so subtly while we were paying our bill that the service was not included…however, they charged for bread that we neither ordered or touched…for each person. Will never go there again.

2/10Constantly ignored or left frustrated again and again by lack of service. Food poor to average. Left hungry, annoyed and astonished at how a restaurant can be so bad and still charge. In hindsight we should have left after the first 20 mins without any interaction from staff let alone menus or water

10/10Nothing you order here is going to be wrong. Everything in their menu is absolutely delicious, and we highly recommend reading about the history of this neighborhood before sitting down and probably one of the most important places in the world. It is a special experience. This restaurant is owned by two brothers, and one is kosher and dairy free whereas the one right down the street is not. So, you have a lot of choice. We loved it so much. It was such a special and moving dinner, between the delicious food and embracing the heartbreaking history – it is an experience that you really should not miss. Afterwards, you can cross the bridge into Travestere for a stroll.

7.5/10We visited the place for Sunday lunch during the festive season. As expected the restaurant was super busy. The host however was very attentive to what was going on. Unfortunately not the same can be said for the rest of the service. Food was however good and to the expectations of an osteria serving Roman-Jewish specialities.

10/10Three of us loved all our food, which was very varied. Simple skewered chicken was "excellent." Oven roasted veal with patate arrosto was "really great." Goulash with tomato sauce and paprika was "incredibly tasty." We are considering going back for a second time during our last remaining days here in Rome. That's a high recommendation!

10/10Located on the row of kosher restaurants near the great synagogue. We went off season and did not have to wait. Food was wonderful! Wish we had a few more days in Rome to try out more of their menu.

4/10Sadly, I have to give this restaurant a bad review. The service was slow and the food pretty bad. The only saving grace for this restaurant was that when I sent back both my food and my husbands, the waiter had no quibble with it and took a new order. I would unfortunately not recommend this restaurant and I really don't usually like to give bad reviews.
