9/10Delicious food. Would absolutely try again. Had new (?) waiter that made overall experience less than it could have been. Our fault too for not speaking better Portguese. Still, a worthwhile dinner - just could have been better overall

10/10We had a drink at the wine bar next door as we were early from our sightseeing in Averio while the restaurant was closed until 7pm. The wine bar service was very good and also owned by the same owner. For dinner, service was excellent and so were the preparations of the codfish prepared in 2 different ways. The staff even charged my iPhone for me while we were having dinner. They called the taxi for us after dinner and our waiter helped negotiate our fare with taxi driver to drop us at our hotel in Porto. It was a wonderful dinner and great waiters.

9.5/10The food was really delicious. Everyone in our party of three loved what they had. The wine suggestion was fabulous and the dessert outstanding. We thought the service was just fine, not perfect but certainly as attentive as we needed it to be. Highly recommend this restaurant.

10/10Nice meal. Good wine. Pasteis da Bacalhau to start - very good but did have a couple of bones which I wasn't expecting. Octopus with asparagus risotto was very tasty.

10/10We discovered this restaurant on our first night in Averio and what a find, the service was excellent with friendly and very attentive staff. The food was exceptional, I had the most delicious prawn risotto and my husband had arroz cremoso de marisco bacalhau which he said was amazing. They have an outstanding Chef and deserve top results.

10/10The restaurant is well-situated if you are staying in central Aveiro - easy to find. The interior was refurbished a month ago and is smart and modern; the pale colours and excellent lighting contributed to a nice ambience. The music was a too intrusive when we first arrived (1930hrs) but as the restaurant filled up during the evening, it became less noticeable. The waiter spoke excellent English and we were given an English version of the menu. He was knowledgeable about the ingredients and how the dishes were prepared. His knowledge of the wine was not as impressive, but we enjoyed his recommendation regardless. The food was delicious (sea food pasta/ prawn and citrus risotto) - nicely presented, well-seasoned and generous portion sizes.

8.5/10A special twist on traditional Portuguese Bacalhau but if you're not a fish lover then the meat dishes are delicious. We had the Bacalhau with mango which was delicate and fresh and the veal cheek with candied nuts that was cooked to perfection and rich in flavour. The recommended wine pairings were spot on for every dish. If you have room order the peanut chocolate dessert accompanied by the white port. This restaurant is a definite must visit if you're looking for something a little different in Aveiro.

10/10My wife and I had booked the restaurant before leaving Scotland for our trip to Northern Portugal. We were not disappointed. We had a warm welcome and were immediately shown to our table. The waiter was friendly and courteous and although he was a little embarrassed about his command of English, it was way better than my Portuguese. Between us we had cod fritters, creamy cod tongue with prawns as starters and 2 types of seafood rice dishes. The food was delicious and nicely presented. The alverinho was beautiful. Lovely evening.

10/10My wife and I both enjoyed our cod for two and the wines that were recommended. Our dessert was wonderful and accompanied by two incredible port selections. The wines available here were amazing and served by the most helpful wait staff. Just an enjoyable evening! There is extensive construction should not deter you from the ambiance inside.

10/10What a wonderful evening. Our server Hugo was so knowledgeable about wine,food, and shared with us stories of his family and the area. We had a cod appetizer,similar to a ceviche it was very tender and flavourful. Their specialty is cod, but we each had a veal dish, and we could have licked the plate,they were so flavourful, delicious, and plentiful. There was no room for dessert. This was the best meal of our trip. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

10/10Nice restaurant somewhat off the tourist trail, especially since the building works started on the underground car park. (Oct 2022). Good fish dishes both traditional Portuguese and contemporary dishes too. The codfish with mango and curry is the specialty of the house and very good too. Well presented food. Good selections of wines And caring and knowledgable staff. (Hugo ). Not cheap but by UK standards certainly not expensive. €110 for 2 with great bottle of wine.
