10/10Hugo was great, we were running late and he was understanding and accommodating. Claudio was our waiter and he was very attentive , which made for a wonderful evening for our first night in Porto

10/10We had a very enjoyable evening at Badio Gold. Bruno provided excellent service and he was very attentive and funny. We shared the panko breaded shrimp, mixed salad and the Tomahawk steak. I would certainly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area.

4/10Food was mediocre and not as pictured. The octopus salad was fishy tasting, and steak was very raw and bland. The chimichurri it came with was more of a salsa, and the sides were inedible. Overall the restaurant had a lackluster vibe.

Dear Catherine, Thanks for your review. We're sorry that we did not meet your expectations. About the octopus and the "tasted slightly fishy" we can't do nothing about, because octopus came from the sea... The Tomohawk if it was undercooked, it was always possible to become to the kitchen and in a few minutes the problem was solved. Just to finish, about the other costumers don enjoying their meals, i think our reviews of more than 800 costumers speak by themselves. We expect to see you soon in Badio Gold. Best Regards

10/10Claudio served us with excellence and made us feel very welcome. Absolutely fantastic place we highly recommend. The garlic shrimp were the best we've had in Portugal in a week out of 4 places

7/10Cool restaurant in a quirky part of town. Lively atmosphere. Interesting menu with lots of variety. Host was very nice. Our waiter forgot our starters so they came with the mains. Which was no big deal. Steaks were good as requested and were good. Tasty sides also. I would return on my next trip to Porto.

10/10I was looking on-line for a small restaurant, walking distance from my hotel and found this gem. I was able to reserve on line, was welcomed by my name when I arrived and promptly seated. Carla was our waitress, very friendly & helped with her suggestions. Everything was delicious, from the starters, main dishes (we went for meat after various days of cod) and of course the dessert! I highly recommend Badio for a romantic dinner!

6.5/10The service was so good that I feel bad leaving a mediocre review of the food, but I need to be honest. The steak was cooked just as we asked, but it was not that flavorful (we needed the chimichurri sauce for flavor, and they provided only small amounts of it). Also, the ambiance was really disappointing. We felt like we were in a fast-food or airport restaurant in that the lights were very bright and the place was just not at all intimate or elegant. On the plus side, the side dishes, i.e., the garden salad, the rice with chorizo, and the French fries were all very good. And as I said before, the service was outstanding.
