The most enjoyable and tasty dinner during my staying in Rome. I took oysters (4€ per one), chef’s tar-tar (6€), fregola sarda with shrimps (13€) and wine (3€?). Everything was really delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you!!!
Amazing food!!! Would highly recommend.
Best past in Rome. Regret that I did not went for the fish in salt. It looked delicious, must come back fore sure
Great food. Greatest risotto I have ever had in my entire life.
Excellent food and lovely staffBaia chia
thanks so much. you're welcome!!
Excellent place to eat. Fresh seafood, friendly service. Large portions. Reasonably priced.
Baia Chia is an authentic Italian restaurant, serving Sardinian cuisine. The food was very good. The tiramisu was excellent, one of the best we ever ate and the service was very nice. We liked it a lot and would recommend it. Good food for a fair price.
Simple but delicious home-style cooking - a welcomed change. Seafood was fresh. Staff was friendly; although they can’t speak English we managed to communicate ???? We went twice, taking friends along on the 2nd night and they enjoyed the food too.
Great service. Delicious apps, salad and main course. Dessert was devine.
All the pasta dishes we experienced were under done (not al dente) and tasted medicore. For the ham and melon - the melon was beautiful, but the ham was sliced so thickly that we had to chew a lot - couldn’t cut it with a knife, mainly pulled it apart to get manageable pieces. Bread was stale. Restaurant was quiet with one other table. Service was ok, our waiter was friendly but defended that pasta as “that’s how Italians eat it”. This was our last meal in Rome after 5 days and was probably the worst. It’s a consolation that we got the 30% discount from The Fork. Also ordered the “fish soup” which was actually a “mixed seafood stew” - it was tasty but warm - so had been left there a while before it was brought over. We chose this place because of the good reviews on trip advisor, unfortunately we got them on a off nite. Disappointing.
Excellent meal and great service. The tiramisu was probably the best I have ever had. My husband thought the pasta was the best he had in Italy so far. Nice restaurant just a few minutes from where we are staying.
An all around excellent experience! Delicious....
An absolute highlight!!!!! The restaurant is located right in the center of rome, near the colosseum and easily reached. The service was incredible, the food was delicious and the prices are more than reasonable! We didn't choose a la carte but instead had the 4-course menus (at the end of menu!). This turned out be the BEST choice ever - it says 4 courses, but in fact you get about 7 different dishes, all very big portions and each incredibly delicious. We celebrated my boyfriends birthday at Baia Chia and shortly before midnight, all the lights went out, they played loud music and brought us a huge platter full of profiteroles with a birthday candle :-))) It was such a nice gesture and the whole restaurant applauded us. We each had a 4-course menu, 1 bottle of red wine and two carafes of the house wine, and extra desert - for a total of 115 EUR. I have never written an online review for a restaurant before, but this was absolutely incredible and on our next trip to Rome, we will definitely come back!!!!
Very nice people, pleasant atmosphere.
Terrific food, and we enjoyed the Sardinian specialties. Excellent grilled squid.
Ottima esperienza ma forse un po' su con i prezzi
I am so happy I ordered 4 dinners at this restaurant on the website . It was very cozy, the staff was friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Thanks to all who work in this restaurant!!!
Best fish I've ever had. Great service and reasonable price. Highly recommend.
Absolutely phenomenal Italian cuisine located on a very nice street. The service was absolutely exceptional, as the staff were very timely in bringing each course of the meal. Recommend ordering either the Fish menu or the Meat menu; you will not be disappointed!
very gooď food. i reccomend it 100% staff was great.
We went here the last night in Rome and what a disappointment, the food is actually fine, nothing special but the problem is the service, we were constantly ignored, food was thrown down at the table with us, and we had to ask for the bill 4 times which then did not have the fork discount so we had to ask again, they also use cheap brand alcohol, the 'Amaretto' was tasteless
this is a fantastic seafood destination in Rome, this was my second visit and I visit Rome a lot. the fresh seafood is prepared the traditional way, the service was great
Nice welcoming, good food, with a varied menu, which contemplates both italian and typical sardinian dishes. We'll definitely return!
