9/10The restaurant was very clean and cozy. Food was fresh, very tasty and nicely served. Menu available only via QR code but it did not included drinks. For drinks we need to communicate somehow with waitress.who doesn't speak English. Thus it was inconvenient. Fork promotion was counted accordingly

10/10We were looking for a light lunch and this place fit the bill. We even considered returning later for dinner, but it did not fit our plans.

8/10Good tapas! Large menu to select from. Had to scan menu on QR code and combined with bad phone reception and spanish text only made it a bit challenging to order. Waiter was however very helpful and put together a selection of tapas for us.

6.5/10Good kitchen, smiling service; we appreciated the diner. Thus, the main course was put on the table while we were still eating the starter. A little point which can easily be improved. Nevertheless, we recommend this table.

7.5/10The quality of the food is high and it's a lovely restaurant but we were sitting almost alone and the service was friendly but they gave no suggestions, advice....only that we had to scan the QR-code for the menu (hate that - I don't want phones during diner). But I really go back another time, it's a nice place, but maybe later (after 21 h).

9.5/10The food and service were excellent. Wonderful fresh food superbly presented. The waitress was friendly and helpful. We were surprised how quiet this restaurant was given it served the best food we tasted in Alicante. We had 7 sharing plates, with great portions sizes for 4 people and 8 drinks which cost €90.00. We thought this was excellent value for a celebratory meal. We would highly recommend Bailen 17.

2.5/10Arrived with a reservation. Ordered a few items for 3 persons. A large party of 10-12 came in shortly after and was fully served with drinks and food before one small tapa arrived of my 3. Waited another 10 minutes, left money for the tapa and left. Did not once get a water refill or drink order in. Would not recommend.

6/10it was a bit of a strange experience as when we arrived the restaurant was deserted. We went in and hung around for awhile and someone came out and said the restaurant wasn’t open yet even though the door was wide open and we had a table booked. So we went outside and waited for awhile and then went back in and we were suited at a nice table. We ordered quite a lot of Tapas, which was okay and quite unusual but not as good as I thought it was going to be. There are some quite sweet things and what I thought was a bit fusion rather than traditional Tapas. We didn’t stay for long, and didn’t have any main courses as we weren’t enjoying it very much

10/10Calm environment. Food is well prepared and and there's a lot of variety. We had the secretos chato, that was not in the menu, thus the discount do not apply, but was the most traditional option and was very tasty.

9.5/10Excellent place for a casual dinner. We ordered amolst all available items listed 'to share' and were not disappointed by any of them, since all came freshly cooked. On the desired side: A little more variety on the drinks list would be welcomed. The final verdict: This is a place were we'll return for sure and will, also, recommend it to our friends.

10/10Absolutely absolutely brilliant place. Everything about the restaurant was faultless from the ambience, to the service to the quality of food. Definitely the BEST tapas we had in Alicante. Awesome experience.

9.5/10We start ar 8:00 pm and we were first in restaurant. Very nice room with delicate music in background. Dishes was very testy. Cook made fantastic job.

9.5/10Nice place, with interesting food. However, selection of wines by the glass is limited. Same about English capabilities of the waiting staff. Wait time -- even when we were the only people in the restaurant was also a bit too long. Overall, my score is about 9.1...

9.5/10We were so happy that the food and service was as wonderful as we remembered from 2 years ago! Great carrillera, and the caballitos del Mar were a tasty entrada. We will be back, hopefully sooner!
