Good without being outstanding. Not much of a wow factor to elevate the experience. Food good, BYO a very reasonable $4pp for wine only, service good. Overall good, enjoyed the night but wouldn't rush back.

Delicious food with lovely flavors. Meat skewers were substantial and very tender. Value for money, attentive service and a cheerful atmosphere .

Excellent food, as always! Skewers are divine, gravy just delicious! The only thing I would request is some seafood / more skewers variety other than lamb.

They didnt have our booking through The Fork but luckily they were still able to seat us. This was a busy restaurant but the staff seemed very disorganised. Food was ok, no-one offered any recommendations on what to order though. Left very disappointed when they tried to charge me for another table which was 10x the bill! Terrible service.

The food is 6 out of 5 stars, so amazing. The service is also excellent and friendly, fast and professional. So so good. Probably the best food in Canberra. Go and check it out please as you will not regret it. Vege options also and GF.

We were happy with our experience at the Restaurant, however, my reservation through Fork had not gone through, so I will unlikely book through the Fork in future, not the fault of the restaurant but the Fork's.

This is a loud, cheerful cafe/restaurant that serves Middle-Eastern food to die for. We went as a couple and enjoyed our selection of food enormously, but this is really a place to bring a group, to share dishes and experience lots of different flavours without eating too much. I did eat too much, but It was good and I'll be back for more.

We aren’t locals, we came up from Sydney and were fantastically surprise by the food! It was delicious!! The waitstaff were really helpful in directing us with the dishes. If you’re a foodie you’ve gotta try this restaurant. Top notch!

Overall the food was really good. However, one of the staff told me that we can stay for 2 hours, but the other waitress came and asked us to leave after 1 hour and half.

Love the food, nice and tender meat. Great service. Very friendly staff. They did really well given the place was extremely busy on Friday night. Will definitely go back soon and highly recommend it to friends and family

A disappointment. The restaurant was over the capacity of the kitchen and waitstaff to serve. We waited over 45mins for our entree. Our meal was average.

Fantastic flavours. We ordered the banquet as we didn’t know just what we wanted. A great selection and not overfed for two of us. Lamb dumplings and tandoor chicken highlights.

Fantastic food with patient, attentive staff. The restaurant was busy but, although loud, the atmosphere was great. We had an option from banquet menu which was great value for money and showcased the terrific dishes well.

Food was so tasty and tender. Kids (preteens) loved it and can’t wait to go back. We loved one dish (chicken with spinach) so much we ordered a second serve. Only downside is the restaurant is quite noisy and door opens to street so cold air comes in at this time of year. Highly recommend

First time visitors and well we just loved it. We got two amazing car parks on Lonsdale St and chose a few different items from the menu including the chicken tikka kebabs, and the lamb kalibu rice which came with a lamb curry that melted in your mouth. Will return!

Very good quality food and good sized portions. The Ashok are particularly good. Can be a little noisy if you are after a quiet dinner but all in all had a very good meal.

The food was ok, not amazing. The service was dissapointing - drinks were handed to us across the table (no access issues), food was placed at the edge of the table, and there was general surliness from the wait staff. Not going back.

Absolutely delicious food and very hospitable host! We were there for lunch on a Sunday at 12:00pm in a group of 10 people. We ordered a mixed grill banquet for 4 people, 3 additional dishes and 3 additional serves of rice. All in all, food was great! The meat skewers were still juicy and moist, briyani was full of flavour and naan bread amazingly delicious. Would recommend!

The vegetarian dishes we had were good but the steamed minced lamb dumplings and the lamb kebabs were very ordinary with far too much meat on the massive kebabs.

Fantastic food, excellent value for money - we had a banquet and were completely stuffed by the end. The staff couldn't seem to find our booking when we first arrived but other than that the service was excellent as well. Would definitely go here again.

We had not tried Bamiyan before and were well all glad we did. The food was excellent, it came out quickly and the staff were friendly and efficient. I would definitely go again...
