Just some mess with the wine order as they did not want to initially admit that my wine was unavailable and just gave something else without explanation. Everything else incl the gorgeous food was excellent.

French restaurants at its best.
Other than the Impresssive Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo that will be closed in a few months, you can't find these kind of rare Seafood elsewhere : king crab, giant lobster, Big Spiny lobster
The best seafood towers I've ever seen.
Chic décor. Oustanding wild fish for two available : seabass, live turbot, swordfish.... Impressive fish tanks. +300 Wines mostly White Burgundy & Loire. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

not impressed. service was quite poor. seafood quality was just ok, but not great.
it was not a bad experience overall, but would not go again nor recommend. There's so much more in Paris ...

Oceanfront taste in the heart of Paris. Elegant Seafood restaurant

I have written elsewhere that high-quality, wild-caught seafood is very expensive in Paris, as it has become worldwide. There is plenty of fish available, but the handful of top choice fish specialists is a pricey group.
LE BAR A HUITRES next to Place des Vosges, is no exception, except it offers a 39€ Lunch & Dinner Menu, not normally a bargain except within this category.
Food : From the menu, good traditionnal & Ultra-fresh.
Service : Proper. Bilingual. Deft. (Most tables ordered a la carte seafood platters & Fish for two (The Maitre d' boned and plated the fish with surgical skill.) Crepes flambeed in front of you is a must
A must-see location, top fish & seafood restaurant in Paris
Prices : 39€ is the best value for a fish meal in Paris.

The three waiters that interacted with us refused to speak any English, continued to talk to us in French, reprimended our 2 yrs old son who was crying at a moment, and we're just trying to make us feel uncomfortable all the time. It is clear it is a problem with the pairiasn and they little sense of arroganc,e but this place is definitely not worth for the bad atmosphere generated by the waiters.

It is a place I go from time to time when in Paris, but it could be definitly better. After a crustacaes plateau no finger bowl was proposed to me. Last time the maitre d' was out of his rockers, speaking bullshits and a limit discourteous. Money is the only objective in this place.

Have been before. Last year great food and Ok service. This time waited 30 minutes before waiter even approached the table(no water even). If you can tolerate awful service in exchange for great seafood, then this is for you
