Whilst teh menu had a large selection of options and the food was lovely ad presented well. The restaurant is very sterile. Certainly not what the BArwon Heads Hotel used to be.

We did arrive 10 minutes late for our booking. Staff were pleasant on arrival however it would have been appreciated if we were told the kitchen was about to stop taking orders and to order asap. We got our drink then went to order straight after and the kitchen had just closed to orders apart from pizza.

Not my usual eating place - too big and noisy. Kids running around - dangerous. Food and wine very good. Service was a little over attentive and needs a little more training.

Very expensive pub meal, do not consider good value for the price paid.

My brother and I had a fantastic meal. Was a late booking for Christmas Eve and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the pork belly salad was delicious

I think it's a little bit pricey for what is, at the end of the day, a pub. Having said that though, both the meal and service were faultless and it was a very enjoyable night for that reason.

Second visit in 2 weeks- both on Sundays. First visit- chn running around, playing running games with rolled up white paper, no intervention by staff. My whiting cost $36 , way too much for 2 soft, warm battered fillets of fish.,obviously been sitting on the counter for too long. Reported this to wait staff, non - committal. I would expect to pay that price for an upmarket experience. The tomato in the salad was tough and not ripe. The next day I rang and spoke to Susie, who was non committal and could not offer me any token of recompense for our next visit. Yesterday we had 14 people dining with us and one meal was cold, the Yorkshire puddings that came with the roast of of the day were tired, dry, inedible and stale, obviously cooked days before. Very disappointing and won't be back. The senior staff need to be more customer friendly if they want return custom.
