This was my third time to Baybays and every time the food has been brilliant! The prices are reasonable and the service was quick and staff very friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Expected it to be a nicer restaurant. Our booking wasn’t acknowledged so we ended up just finding our own table, lucky it wasn’t busy. Table was dirty, high chair was dirty. Food was good tho! My husband’s seafood basket was a bit on the too-deep-fried side tho.

The place itself has a nice feel to it and we all enjoyed our meals, which were presented very well. The sweet potato fries were excellent. Drinks were a little on the pricier side and service, although friendly, needs a little polishing.

Great view & sadly that's where it ends. Very disappointing lunch. We made a decision to book restaurant based on the menu on the website. The menu at the restaurant was very different. Poor food quality. My sweetheart ordered the seafood basket. Unequivocally supermarket bought frozen seafood. ONE of each of :- Tiny piece of fish, prawn, squid ring, prawn, tiny piece of crab stick & scallop. Salad soggy. Chips were salty. Certainly not worth $28. I had the salmon. Tastless, salad soggy & slithers of roast veggies. At $34 I would have expected a better quality meal. Service was not existent. We did see a lot of uneaten food been collected by staff. I think it's a great place for drinks. Based on today's experience we will definitely not return to this venue.

BayBays on Scarborough was very disappointing. It is a wonderful spot, facing the Indian Ocean like a lot of the restaurants down that street. The staff when we arrived just said "Take your pick where you sit" which made me wonder why I bothered booking a table. We ordered the Seafood Tasting Plate for an entree for the 4 of us - not cheap at $69. It came out the same time as the two pizzas we ordered, not a great start! The Tasting plate was ok, but certainly not worth $69. The pizzas (Meatlovers and a Proscuitto) weren't very hot and looked exactly the same but the proscuitto one didn't have any chicken (not much of this) or a few salami pieces on it. Very uninteresting. All in all I was looking forward to a great night but was not impressed. 4.5 - 5/10.

Average pub food at average pub prices. Nothing more and nothing less. Good selection of beers on tap. Don’t order a coffee though, it’s not their strong suit.

What a fabulous find!! The staff were fantastic and so obliging. The location was right on the beach and a perfect spot to watch the sunset. I can not recommend enough we will be going again!!

Great location and great food! would 10000% go back! Defiantly recommend their cocktails and Lamb Pasta! Love!!
