Excellent Food and dining experience , we all had a great enjoyable evening. I would dine at the restaurant again for sure. I feel pricing could be better and more family friendly .. this is the only reason I gave it 8/10

We were a party of nine which included two 12 year olds, everyone was impressed with every aspect of the restaurant. Service was excellent, food was superb with such a great variety. This is the perfect place for a birthday celebration. Staff even supplied a small birthday cake and sang happy birthday. This place is a hidden gem and great quality for money. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We booked for new years eve dinner and were in and out within 2 hours. The food was good but for the price beacase of new years eve wasnt worth it. The kids only had one plate and then dessert so it was pricey from them beavse they didn't eat much.

I found it confusing to book and it effected my opinion of QT Hotels where we were staying as my assumption was that with hotels of that quality usually some kind of breakfast is included in the room rate. My experience was that there was no breakfast included (that I could easily see on the website) and that I would be forced to dine at Bazaar which had great reviews yet would add an extra $112 per day ($560 for 5 nights) which was an unexpected expense. Add $100 parking, and one night of room service, and that made for a fairly uncomfortable amount of additional expenses. The quality of the cooked food options was quite average, though the overall options were generally large and good quality. I was aware of the Fixx Cafe, but the website photos and reviews made it look like more of a high tea location.

Food was delicious and there was a wide variety of choices. Everything from freshly carved meats, pizzas, seafood, cheeses to Asian street food. The deserts were absolutely divine! I love that they are portioned small so you can have a little bit of many things, rather than only one item. Food was quickly topped up when running low and everything was fresh and tasty. The staff behind the food areas were friendly and knowledgeable. I love that the tables are not placed too close together as you often find in other restaurants. The waitstaff were lovely, particularly the young gentleman who visited each table offering small samples of oysters and other delicious items. The only disappointing part of the evening was when we were given a 5 minute warning to vacate the table, which was immediately followed by staff clearing the table as we quickly tried to finish our plates and drinks - which were only just ordered. I understand that there is a time limit due to other bookings, but a 5 minute timeframe is not adequate. A 15 minute heads up would have been much more appropriate and appreciated. As we were spending time enjoying our meals (and there are no clocks visible in the restaurant) keeping an eye on the time was not something I thought to do. We ended up with plates of deserts going to waste. It was a sour ending to an otherwise amazing night. ** I’d like to note that the waitstaff who were clearing the table as we ate were extremely apologetic and polite about it. It seemed as if it was an oversight that the table was needed for another party.

Probably the best buffet I’ve seen. Amazing variety of meats, seafood blend with Asian, goodness they even had nutto! Then you get to dessert, everything you could think of. The young fella who checked us in realised it was our first time and gave us a full tour, wine recommendation was spot on and we had waiters buzzing around all night asking if we were ok. A bit pricey but well worth it. I’d definitely recommend.

Shame about lack of information when booking. Family breakfast while staying at the Gold Coast, great restaurant, lovely decor, bit expensive considering the normal person could not eat $50 worth of breakfast food, but for a special occasion, not a big deal. But to book days before for 9.30am then to be told as we are being seated we only have an hour to eat as brunch is starting after that and we have to be out. Poor form not to notify us prior as I would have booked a little earlier. 3 of our breakfast guests travelled an hour to shovel down breakfast and be told they have to go.
