6.5/10Food is ok, cocktails are average. The service was also ok. Nothing exceptional nor mediocre. Bonus points go only to the clean toilets and good coffee

5.5/10What looked good according to the reviews and on the menu was in reality wuite disappointing. Service was pretty good. Ambiance not bad, but not special. What was bad is that there was bird droppings on most cushions and tables, which the restaurant clearly didn’t clean up, so had to wipe it down ourselves. Then the food. Flammkuchen were okay, limited choices. Not remarkable, but relatively expensive. Rest of the menu quite limited. So we ordered a quinoa goat cheese salad and the balinese chicken sate, which was supposed to be 200g. The salad had very limited goat cheese and loads of onion and little to no salad at all. The balinese chicken sate was supposed to be 200g, but I think their scale is severely broken as 5 sticks of about 20-25g each really didn’t get anywhere close to that amount. Also they tasted a lot like pre-made, ready bought wholesale terriyaki chicken sticks. The sauce and toasted coconut were fine, but an afterthought. The rice had so much mushroom inside, that half of it was mushroom actually. I don’t like mishroom. And the veggies were like 7 small strips of sweet n sour veggies. That’s 22 bucks. Then my wife was surprised there weren’t any fries, so we ordered some at EUR 7.50. A medium size plate shows up of really the most regular fries you can imagine drenched in truffle sauce with a bunch of parmezan crumbs on top. Easy money there! Total bill was EUR 88. Nope; unimpressed. Won’t be going back or recommending this place. Sorry guys; this can be so much better. At this time its more like a very expensive snack bar.

9/10Great music, excellent service and good quality food on the beach ! The set-up is very well designed and the food & drink options are above average for a beach restaurant.

A lovely place in Bloemendaal aan Zee where you can burry your feet in the sand. The menu consists of French classics, pizza's and a kids menu. Despite the large space it's decorated nicely with wood and colorful lamps -they can support groups up to 2500 persons. Active kajak, a cocktail workshop or a brainstorm with sea view? Fuel takes care of it!
