The oxtail was very tasty and very good meat, but unfortunately overwhelmingly too much. We two were served for 6-8 people and nearly lost our appetite at the sight. A more proportional serving would have improved our experience Immensely.

The welcome was just short of hostile! We arrived on time and I had booked a few days before but they seemed to have trouble finding our booking. When they did a performance was made of crossing through the line! We were shown into the restaurant and given the choice of two tables - my husband sat down and I walked around to sit opposite (it was a table for 2) when the waiter practically shouted at me “No! You can’t sit there”. at this point my husband wanted to leave but they

Great service and menu is very authentic to the restaurant (beef) with some lovely fish and vegetarian dishes. We had the oxtail which was amazing and our son had the Wagyu steak - really lovely texture and taste. First class all round and worth a visit .

A quiet restaurant with an excellent ambience. We enjoyed a leisurely meal; the food was delicious throughout. There was a large wine list and the waiter helped us choose a tasty wine. Overall, this was a most enjoyable evening. Peter

The staff are so helpful and friendly. Very odd that tips can’t be added to the bill - these days fewer people carry cash , so the level of staff gratuities naturally suffers ! Food and wines were delicious. Service was top class. My only concern is the chairs - they are seriously uncomfortable- please 🙏🙏change them . …

We made a last minute booking here after being recommended this restaurant by our hotel, so we didn't have the best located table or the warmest welcome. The food was really good, except for the dessert which was a bit bland. The service was very quick and we felt a bit rushed.

Second visit as we liked the food very much but service slow and servers looked miserable. No attempt to interact with customers. Looked unhappy but I suppose they were busy but so was La Vaca Negra the night before and the staff were lovely. Also the same cover of a Duran Duran song played on a loop for the 90 mins we were there. Need to sort this out . The pork kebab and prawns were delicious however and that’s why we returned hoping the service would be better but not so .

Went for early dinner so restaurant was quiet, although as it got busier it seemed like mostly local clientele which is always a good sign. Food was delivered quickly and we were allowed time between starters and main course.
