We found the restaurant while walking around the old town on our first afternoon. Reviews all seemed fine so we booked a table. Our experience was mostly good. We loved our mains and the red wine. Both couples then ordered the apple pie from the oven. One came to our table dark and as it turned out over cooked the other slightly undercooked. The restaurant people were at first resistant to acknowledgie our pointing out that one of the apple pies was burnt. Grudgingly they agreed not to charge for that dessert. What should have been a delightful experience was marred by the restaurant decision to deliver an overcooked dessert to our table and then make it an unpleasant experience when we pointed out the problem.

Super dinner spot in Brugge- make sure to make reservations. The dining room in down in a cellar and has a warm and inviting atmosphere- the host was kind and made excellent recommendations- we had 2 bottles of red from Bordeaux for around $50 total and 3 amazing entrees- I would highly recommend the pork, lambs and chicken- we used the pepper sauce which was amazing!!

Had a perfect evening here with family. Food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Tuna and lamb skewers on the charcoal grill particularly good. Wine excellent quality. Ambience great. Buzzy but civilised. Enjoyed hearing from the owner about the history of pigeon racing and explanations of the Colombophile related paraphernalia. Quirky bonus to an excellent evening out.

Small intimate restaurant tucked just off the main tourist areas. The service was very good, atmosphere great and food of a high quality. Very pleasant evening and obviously popular so do book ahead.

Cozy cellar seating - may not be suitable for those who feel claustrophobic at times. Food was very good, everything grilled perfectly. Healthy and generous Flemish portions could probably be shared between two.

The meal was delicious. We ordered steak, mussels and goat cheese salad. One glass of wine and an apple tart with cappuccino. Also bread and olives were served. The total cost was about 85€

Service was excellent. We ate in a cozy and unusual cellar area which I enjoyed. The space holds about 5 or 6 tables in the cellar which makes for more intimate dining experience.

I would go back to this restaurant again when visiting Brugge.

Excellent place, mostly charcoal with outstanding lamb, chicken, but also the seafood, foie-de-gras and desserts were very good. Cordial and knowledgeable service, fast kitchen times considering the complexity of some of the fares.
