9.5/10Food was really delicious! We had a few errors in the service, but nothing big. Really recommend this place.

10/10The food is extraordinarily delicious! We had the day’s special from the board, Artichoke Salad, Boeuf Rotî and Afogato. The wine 2023 Domaine Tempier. Merci beaucoup!

5/10I did not like the food, I did not appreciate the local food even if cooked by a starring chef, for me the food was not good… probably because I am Italian and it s difficult for me find something good. Everything is full of onions, terrible. the excellent food is cooked in simple way in order to not cover the natural taste, this is the reason that Italian food is the best in the world. My expectations for this place were too high and were not satisfied at all. The manager, a lady, was very nice. the service in general terrible, very slow and confused waiters run and were nervous all the time… unprofessional… maybe seasonal waiters… ambience and location very nice, Gassin is a small village with an amazing sea view.

4.5/10The staff is sweet, but the lady as I believe was the manager, was the contrary. Arrogant, and made the whole experience to a negative one, in a subtle, pretend to be polite-way. But leaving us with a feeling that we should’nt have been there. The food was ok, but the lamb was not even close to good. Lack of taste, and my meatloving husband didn’t even finish his meal. Lovely fish on the childrens menu, and the «ile flottante» was a large and tasteful dessert. Prices are ok, if the food was better. And especially, if something as simple as being nice and sweet to the customers, we would have left happy, and would definitely come back. It was about 15 years since our last visit, and it will definitly be another 15 years, if we ever come back,

4.5/10Beautiful outdoor venue with picturesque scenery and pleasant decoration. Great attention to the menu presentation and tables - setting the scene for a wonderful evening of dining. Following a delay in ordering the food , we had two delightful tasters of a mini Parmesan biscuit and ham, leek and cheese muffin which were light and flavorful. Then, we were presented a lovely amouse bouche of potato and truffle gazpacho which was perfectly prepared and seasoned - one of the highlights of the meal. This had us very excited for the starter and mains. Our starters were quite mixed. I had the sea bream starter which I thoroughly enjoyed as it was fresh, well balanced and perfectly seasoned. It was very different and unique. My husband had the burrata with spinach leaves and truffle. This was a very disappointing starter. There was no doubt that premium ingredients were used (an €8 premium applied to the set menu). However it was incredibly bland, with burrata sitting on dry spinach leaves with many slices of truffle with a drizzle of oil. Despite the ingredients this dish was hugely disappointing and lacking any cohesion, flair or flavor. Whilst waiting between courses, we noticed hot food delivered from the kitchen was consistently left sitting, for some time, at an outdoor service station before being brought to each table. When our mains arrived, the same situation occurred, resulting in the food being served cold. For mains, we both had the duckling breast with lavender honey and rosemary, and roasted peaches. Both servings were quite disappointing and not consistent, as well as both being lukewarm when served. Neither duck breast was seared properly, nor was the fat rendered. Both were perfectly cooked to the rosé request. The sauce had the hints of honey but no flavour of lavender. The “roasted” peaches on my plate were warm and tender but in no way roasted. My husband’s peaches on his portion were practically raw, and not ripe. The meat was served with some quenelles of a mild sweet potato purée that was very unremarkable, and several raw baby spinach leaves which didn’t complement the flavour profile of the dish. This dish was extremely mediocre and was not accompanied by any side dishes, leaving it feeling incomplete, which is unacceptable at this price point. Service overall was pleasant but felt somewhat unprofessional. With long delays, and great difficulty attracting attention. Shortly thereafter we asked for the bill and had to wait over 35 minutes to pay, as it seems only the manageress is allowed to use the card machine, which was rather strange. In summary this beautiful restaurant is situated in a stunning location and offers great promise, but fails to deliver in almost every way that matters. Despite the premium local ingredients used, there was no care in their preparation or serving. We felt the restaurant was overpriced for the food delivered, and were quite disappointed. Not Michelin guide standard.

3/10When I’ve booked I was asking about specific table in the shade because it was a morning time and sunny day. But when I came I realized there is no any reservation rules, we’ve came first but they gave the table in the shade to client who came after us. So for us it was table at the sun. Why you need reservation process than if it’s not working? For the breakfast - price €24 per person, they brought 1 small croissant for 2 persons!!! and 1 small roll with chocolate, 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of cheese with coffee. So we’ve paid €48 for all this. Seriously??? We’ve asked for grapefruit juice, they brought orange. So they just don’t care))) So after such breakfast we stayed hungry and not in a good mood.

7/10Service is very friendly and correct. It is average food in acceptable quality, but more on a touristic level and by no means for gourmets, while prices meet gourmet level. Difficult.

10/10Cosy, friendly, fantastic food. All you want. We went there on a Monday night and the place was pretty booked with guests from all different countries (at least by the languages we heard…) I just hope we will find a parking place when we try to come back in July because that can become an issue in Gassin

7.5/10Excellent food quality, yet unfriendly, almost rude staff. Great location though, would hope it was just bad luck/timing from our side. But service quality is significantly lower than cuisine.

10/10This is third time I’ve eaten here. Believe staff remembered me and have my friend and I and wonderful table overlooking vineyards. Amuse bouche was divine and lobster linguini marvelous . My friend’s veal melted in his mouth. I ordered apricot crumble for desert which was yummy. Staff top notch and welcoming. A true jewel

9/10Beautiful terrace on top of the rolling hills above Saint Tropez in the charming village of Gassin. Food was very good but a little expected. Menu is somewhat limited with the usual suspects - we were all happy with our choices but no « wows ». Desserts however were excellent. Good wine list. Very friendly manager and wait staff.
