8/10Food and service very good but restaurant was a bit too noisy, hard to hold a conversation

4.5/10Very disappointed in this place. The cocktails we started with (Ol' Rosie) had close to no alcohol in them - a poor first impression. There are way too many specials on the menu (~5-6) and no prices were given; hard to recall them all in the first place, we had to ask the waitress to repeat them 3 times. Our table had 3 specials - lamb chop, duck breast and duck maryland. The lamb was good, but the other two weren't. The duck breast was well undercooked - and I know what you're thinking, "Duck is supposed to be pink". Well this was purple and cold in the middle, it was so undercooked. The duck maryland was the opposite. It was so overcooked that it had the colour and texture of a pork chop. The flavours accompanying it were basic and bland; not hard to replicate at home. And yet the restaurant has the nerve to ask almost $40 a plate for these. The staff were friendly, but the menu is designed poorly and you can tell the kitchen struggle to execute on it. Extraordinarily average experience for $100 per head. AVOID.

9.5/10Great food, in addition to the regular menu restaurant offered good choice of specials. They were able to accommodate my special dietary requirements. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks.

10/10This place is a gem, not so much for the decor, but the food is fantastic and the service friendly and efficient. We had a mix of the entrees and salad followed by an amazingly good cannoli for dessert Highly recommended.

5/10No onion, no garlic, no salt, and no pepper is no way to cook Italian food. Most disappointing. Having grown up regularly eating Italian food, this was not expected.

9.5/10We dine at Bicicletta each time we come down to Canberra. There were four of us so we shared a few dishes which was perfect. The wine was very nice too!

10/10Bicicletta is a great place to grab a quick but delicious meal, especially if you are going to the cinema. I have been here many times and am never disappointed

6/10There were six of us. First they said we couldn’t split the bill, then they said we couldn’t pay cash. So one person was supposed to pay for everyone - really? Why make it so hard?

10/10My friend and I booked for a quick meal before attending the Opera. We had a delicious Martini to start, we both ordered the Spaghetti di Pescatore which was excellent, plenty of well cooked seafood in a 'tastes of Italy' sauce, a glass of Shiraz and good coffee to finish. Without feeling hurried, our service was efficient and friendly, in the 'terrace' which has a warm and pleasant ambience. I have been to Bicicletta several times before, and will certainly go again.

7/10Food was good and reasonably price and good local canberra wines on offer but qas disappointed that the all the gluten free options listed on the menu on the website were not available. We selected this restaurant based on these options. Also frustrating that the menus don't list GF options, you have to ask the wait staff who provided quite vague answers.

8.5/10We were able to sit outside in a lovely courtyard. Had superb cutlet special and duck ravioli. Pizza arrived cold, but was replaced. Enjoyed my first Canberra wine. Recommend for locals and tourists and families. Reasonably priced.

7/10Food was fantastic, especially the fritto misto and duck ravioli. Service was attentive but too much so. They obviously want you out as soon as possible.

4/10We envisaged that 70 minutes would be enough time to have an entrée and main course. Sadly we were wrong. Main course still had not arrived after 60 minutes and we were booked into the movies.

9.5/10What a gem of a restaurant!! Small, cosy, and the noise was welcoming- great to hear diners chatting and enjoying themselves.... missed those sounds. From the moment we we welcomed, until we walked out the door, I couldn’t rate the team higher for attentiveness, friendliness and helpfulness. Clear COVID precautions too. Recommend the duck ravioli !
