The food was average, but I was especially disappointed that the servers put all English speaking people into the not nice part of the restaurant and put all the Italian diners into love lovely part. The decision to do this was unfair and prejudiced. When in Italy I didn’t want to be shoved into second rate rooms next to English speakers how had been dumped in the same room just to have the locals be given the best locations.

Had the grilled mixed seafood and good overall but not great. Most of the items were just like warm, not hot. Swordfish was undercooked and I do not like sushi. They room was a bit “sterile” and was noisy as all diners seated on same side of the room. Not sure why as there were open tables on the other side of the room.

Lovely decor. Great to eat in a restaurant that although full wasn’t at all noisy. Our waiter was helpful and knowledgeable about the food and wine. The food was good and it’s presentation excellent.. A lovely way to spend an evening in fabulous Florence.

While the food was well presented it was not exceptional tasting. We had hoped for a romantic meal by the Arno while we were in Florence but instead the room was a grey, austere warehouse space, lined by closely spaced tables. The neighbors were so close we felt like we were eaves dropping on everyones conversation. No better than an okay in the end, sorry, must try harder.

Visual delicious, a little tasteless but good seafood. Presentation of the food was zero. Okay and friendly service.

I’m so impressed by fantastic dishes. No wonder that this is one of the best restaurants in Florence.

Food was excellent and the recommendations of our server were right on. Sad we didn’t discover this restaurant until our last night in Florence

It was one of the finest meals I have ever had. Seafood is not easy to find in Florence and this was definitely worth the search. Next time I will order a bit less food, as the portions were generous given the quality. The mixed grill is not to be missed.

Another wonderful meal here. I visited in the summer and had a wonderful experience so was eager to return the next time I was in Florence. The finest sea food outside of Milan.

The waiter is not friendly and the pasta is a bit too hard

Nice location, welcoming staff. The food however was not the freshest. We had a shrimp appetizer that was a bit mushy which is not good for seafood. We also experienced similar with some of the seafood served with the pasta. Pasta noodles were too thick.
