5/10Access is not obvious and difficult to negotiate with lots of steps. (We are 80). Welcome was OK except despite reservation having been reconfirmed as late as 11 25 am for a 12 30 lunch, the receptionist in the bistro said we did not have a table reserved. Table service was pleasant but a little slow. Food quality was good but we had to ask for the "menu fixe". I would go back but it is fr from my first choice in the area.

9/10Wonderful restaurant. Food & service top notch. Fully recommended. But note (despite the “du Vin” warning), still a bit surprising that if you wanted to start with a cocktail, it required a walk to the bar, and if you wanted a good beer…well, too bad - you’re out of luck - and in the former Brakespeare brewery!
