An absolutely gorgeous Albanian restaurant with a caring staff and delicious food. We split the carnivore mezze and shared from the ribeye, lamb, sweet potato, and regular potato. We'd strongly recommend all of the above to anyone looking for delicious Mediterranean food. Our only regret is our travel schedule doesn't let us return here this trip--we will be back on another!

Great Albanian restaurant with lovely sunny terrace in the center of Ghent. The meat was deliciously spiced and grilled. Served with a lovely salad, potatoes and flatbread. A treat.

This restaurant is very nice, we could sit outside on the terrace underneath a tent. Good value for money. Nice food, excellent and quick service, in the centre of Ghent.

One of Ghent’s hidden gems!! Great service, amazing food and quality products for a reasonable price. We took the captain’s plate and it was simply devine! We’ll be back for more!

Tasty comfort food and good service, albeit a bit pricey for the relatively small portions (compared to similar quality restaurants in the vicinity). The dessert (rose jelly - with petals! - with vanilla ice cream) was a nice surprise. All in all, a place I would visit again.

I love successful Albanians, hence they deserve to be promoted !!! Located in Ghent, Belgium, Bistro Illyrian represents with dignity and beautifully, the delicious and fresh Albanian food. In addition to food, it is a very delicately decorated environment, Albanian music in the background and very friendly staff! We enjoyed everything very much and definitely I will go again with my family. I highly recommend it with all my heart ❤

Tasty food in a tapas style atmosphere. The wine was also great, I will definitly visit this place. Additionnaly the staff is taking measures against Corona.
