    About the restaurant Bistro Pizay

[Sorry this is in English, too tired this morning]
Food good but once they found out we had booked via la Fourchette, they moved us from the table they had initially offered us near the terrace, nice and cool and which we had accepted, to table 200 in the upstairs.
Table 200 is directly under the hot metal conduit you can see in the site’s photos. We were roasted and the floor/table shook.
We asked if we could move (19:30) as the bistro was nearly empty but we were told that all the other tables were fully booked!! What about the table we were originally offered?
Two hours later when we left most of the tables had remained free (I took photos).
It is hard to avoid the impression that la Fourchette members are considered second class and are allocated the worst tables, after all we pay much less. Still, we can vote and are more likely to do so.
So, food was good, but avoid table 200 unless you love heat or it’s in the middle of a very cold winter.
Our evening was unfortunately very uncomfortable

You might think this is a bar with bar food. Not so. The meals were excellent, beautiful plated and inventive. Also the portions are large. I suggest looking on line at the pictures of the platted meals so you have an idea of what to expect. They were very helpful pictures with the name of the items on the picture.

Special offer was not in line with advertised offer but was still quite good.
Food quality was good for starters and mains but dessert was a bit light.
House wine and service were OK
