About the restaurant Bistrot Belhara

Have eaten here many times over the years. Love it. Keep coming back. Always different, always different from American French restaurants. Wonderful French meal.

Typically French bistrot with fantastic food and wines and great welcome and service. Midway between the Invalides and Eiffel Tower. Booking highly recommanded.

Food was outstanding! We ordered the lunch special, consisting of two gourmet courses and a glass of wine for only 15 euros. It was so good, we would have paid twice that (but don’t tell them). The staff was very professional and efficient, and at the same time, very pleasant and patient with non-French speakers. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The main waiter kept suggesting the same items to every table. If you looked around almost every table was then having the same meal. It made us wonder if they had made too much of those items and where trying to sell them. The food was good, but not spectacular.

A favorable WSJ article several years ago and current reviews in Trip Advisor brought us here last night. Good decision. This bistro is small but the menu and wine list are interesting and the staff is first rate. There were great prix fixe options and the waiter recommended we follow that side of the menu. We did and were happy with the decision. The atmosphere in the resto is more that of a restaurant, not a bistro, but that really took nothing away from a lovely evening.
