Very good
Close to the water we had a lovely dinner
Our welcome was immediate and very friendly. We had a drink in the bar, and our server was fun and helped us to enjoy 2 Italian gins, new to us. We were welcomed into the dining room in the same, friendly fashion. The setting is beautiful, both in the lounge and the dining room. The food was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was top-notch, and very friendly. We had a leisurely dinner, and a very nice wine from their list, and were very pleased we decided to go to this restaurant.
Superb food. Great service. You get what you pay for.
A basic but we'll prepared menu, focusing on the fresh seafood available from the Adriatic; Venetian style with a modern spin. Whilst the menu is robust, it isn't the reason you would spend circa €200 on a meal for 2 - it's the exemplary presentation, location and top class service that makes this restaurant special. If you're in Venice with someone special or an occasion to celebrate, this eatery is well worth a visit.
Tasting menu with four courses was excellent. Typical Venetian but interpreted as grand cuisine. Best Baccala I tasted ever , surprising soufflé, great wine accompanied. Friendly staff. Wonderful dinner.
The food was ok but not what I was expecting given the price, and the fact that this is a Relais & Chateau hotel. The service was peremptory at best, and we were not made to feel welcome, which was all the more disappointing as we were guests of the hotel.
The chef did not allow to change a course in the 120-€-menu, ok. The dinner finished with a disastrous soufflé, not worth to be called „soufflé“. Arrogance compared with non-performance is not acceptable for me.
Maybe because my expectatives were raised because the information published, I have got deceptioned of this Restaurant. The restaurant location in Venice is very good and I knew the prices were high, but I was expecting to have an outstanding quality of food for a dinner up to 290 Euros for 4 people, without wine. At the beginning teh maitre ask you wheher you will order suffle as dessert. Do not mak ethis big issue. Each portion is up to 24 Euros! We ordered two appetizers to share, which were very small and one (seafood croquetes) was salat in excees. On second courses we ordered several dishes as truffle risotto that was not good, the Filet that was verry very small, and it was almost overcooked. So, this restaurant are spending very much in publicity but very few in getting a good cheff.
We ordered branzino and got a lot of seafood and few and Not well cooked Fish Price and quality are Not equivalent
Loved everything about this restaurant, from the service to the food all the way up to the decor and ambiance.
We made reservations a month early for July 14. It was a festival night with fireworks. We expected to order off the menu and were prepared for a nice dinner of our choosing. Unfortunately, we did not receive any communication in our reservation confirmation from the restaurant that this evening's offering would be different. We arrived, were seated and waited for menus. Eventually, a waiter brought us a bottle of champagne. We tried to refuse it as we don't like champagne. He said it was included. Our first clue. He indicated we could have wine but never gave us any. We asked about the menus and were told there was a special buffet. Nothing more. No price, no instructions, so explanation. We didn't see him again for 1-1/2 hours. We weren't impressed with the buffet as it appeared to be mostly appetizer/small plate type items. Many items we didn't like. We were never told we could have ordered a fish entree so ate only the small items. Most were not hot. We were charged 380 euros for 2 people.
Food and service was fantastic! We indulged with the 7-course meal and every course was excellent! Best dinner during a 12-day trip to Italy!
Average food poor service not eorth the cost
The restaurant was beautiful inside, however, the service needs improvement. The table service was quite slow. The restaurant was not that busy and we found ourselves having to catch the server's attention several times. Tthe food when it arrived was very tasty but just barely warm.
The food was good but the service wasn’t great. It took way too long for our main course to arrive.
Our main courses were fine, however we were upsold a soufflé which was probably the worst I have ever eaten. Very over priced meal, even by Venetian standards. Service was OK, but not of the standard you expect at such a high priced restaurant. In their favour, they did reduce the price of dessert.
We had great expectations from that restaurant, located in one of the most elegant hotels in Venice. When we arrived we asked to sit inside the restaurant, which was supposed to be very nicely decorated, but were told by the manager that it is only possible to dine outside, on the terrace. It was a very chilly evening , and we really suffered from cold. The food was ok, but service and ambience were very poor . We will never return.
Beautiful setting for top quality food and very good service. Would have chosen from a la carte menu if this had been available at lunch time.
Breathtaking place, must see it
Very elegant and classic, high Level of Food, Service and prices!
