We were warmly welcomed back by the lovely staff. The huge prawns are a favourite, as is the very healthy salad with salmon. Lovely wine. Very reasonably priced. The passion fruit cheesecake is a must. No 2 bus stops at the door.

We’ve been coming to Madeira for 3 years now and a visit is never complete without a night out at this wonderful restaurant. Ticks all the boxes in terms of food quality, outstanding service, and a quiet reserved ambience. Just go, you won’t be disappointed. Oh, and finish your evening off with the delicious passion fruit cheesecake!

We returned to this restaurant for the second time and the experience was as good as the first time. On this occasion we arrived at 1800 for our 1830 reservation as we were meeting friends who had booked at 1800. Our friends assured us that they had informed the restaurant that we were coming early to join them so we thought no more about it and were astounded to receive an email from the fork saying that we were a no show. Despite all this the evening was superb. Hopefully the fork will sort this out

We had a wonderful evening. The staff were very welcoming. The food was amazing. We had the Camembert fondue and the prawn, gravalax and smoked salmon salad. Both were excellent. This was followed by absolutely delicious steaks and the scabbard fish with tapenade. Unfortunately portion size meant we couldn’t manage a dessert! Thoroughly enjoyed it and will return.

Warm welcome, choice of inside or outside tables. The flavour and quality of the food was excellent. Staff were very professional and friendly. Will definitely visit again.
