An honest neighborhood bistro without any pretentions. Solid, with a pleasant ambience and very reasonable prices, not a tourist trap in an area filled with them. On the flip side, not amazing food to go out of your way for but you could stroll over from the Beaubourg, for instance, for a casual meal instead of dropping a bomb on the main drag. For example, the, the happy hour (till 9 p.m.) spritz was well made, not watery for 6 Euro, The bread was good quality, the ham in the salad was cured (not boiled), the confit de canard was competent and came with a side of well-made fresh hot fries. We went because we were tired from our flight over, were not in the mood for an elaborate fancy meal and it was just around the corner but did not regret the decision.
